There are many opportunities to go for a ride, from urban trails throughout the region, to the family-friendly Taranaki Cycle Park at Bell Block, or back-country rides.

Those that want a challenge can cycle 150km around the maunga passing through rolling countryside – a must-do for road-riders.

The intrepid 180k Forgotten World Cycle Trail links Taranaki to the Central Plateau and the Kopiko Aotearoa Trail is a route from East Cape to Cape Egmont.
