Travel Journal

Blue Acorn travel journals have 128 pages of 150gsm cartridge paper, perfect for recording ideas, thoughts and sketches on the move. These Journals have a heavy duty cover with a gusseted pocket inside the back cover to store articles of interest, an elastic strap to keep contents secure and a ribbon page marker. This 150gsm paper can take light washes of paint as well as inks, pencils, sketching pens and brush pens.

They can be used on almost any surface - fabric, glass, paper, canvas, plastic, metal, porcelain, terracotta, wood, concrete, rocks, ceramics, printing screens and more. The pens create vibrant colours for illustrations and hobbies and the water-based pigment ink is lightfast and water-resistant yet does not bleed through paper. Vigorously shake the marker up and down with the cap on. The ball inside, with its characteristic clicking, will thus homogenise the colour.

Press the tip several times on a spare piece of paper until the tip is completely filled with paint. Test it out to remove any excess paint, and you are ready to go!

Your POSCA markers can be kept in any position as long as the cap is put back on firmly after use. The integrated ball means the paint stored in the body of the marker can be re-mixed at any time. The POSCA brush tip is an exception. It should be stored in a horizontal position.
