LIGHTWEIGHT PERFORMANCE DAMPENING This new design associates the lightweight and efficient SSCL P with an elliptic construction and a cork layer for the best damping properties. The elliptic construction combined with carbon strings provides you great edge grip, torsional rigidity, pop and precision. The cork layer addition underfoot, with its excellent energy dissipation capacity, will enhance comfort, stability and performance, while keeping the ski lightweight.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND STABILITY The combinations of a lightweight Paulownia wood core and Carbon strings in a laminate construction make this design the perfect choice for a progressive skier. Sidewall laminate construction offers great edge grip and torsional rigidity while carbon strings, with their unique strength to weight ratio, provide incredible pop in a lightweight and rigid package. This construction also delivers a significant 300g-weight reduction on the new Scrapper while keeping the performance at 100% of what skiers expect from SCOTT, but 15% lighter.

PERFORMANCE AND LIGHTWEIGHT This design combining the lightweight paulownia wood core as well as high strength Kevlar and Carbon fibers in an elliptical construction is the ideal high performance construction for demanding ski touring endeavors. Kevlar fibers are inherently very strong providing high impact resistance and enhanced stiffness, durability and absorb vibrations for great stability. The 45° carbon fibers increase the torsional stiffness for magnified edge control and precision.

SCOT T SKI TECHNOLOGY PRO-TIP ROCKER – SCOTT’s Pro-Tip Rocker produces a more consistent ski flex and predictable turns by using a progressive tip height radius. SCOTT skis that feature Pro-Tip Rocker track better than the competition and are available in four heights catering to the skis intended use: Pro-Tip Rocker 300 / 320 / 350 and 375.

3DIMENSION SIDECUT – This revolutionary sidecut design combines a tip and tail radius with either a central flat line or a small amount of sidecut under foot. The tip and tail radii allow for easy turn initiation while the flat line (freeski) or a larger radius (all conditions) provides stability, power and precise edge hold. This proven design has earned accolades in the form of multiple ski test awards.

DUAL RADIUS – Traditional skis have a fixed radius that determines the length of every turn. SCOTT skis combine two radii (dual radius) to create the sidecut or “shape” of the ski. This Dual Radius creates a more versatile ski, which is not confined to one type of skiing or terrain. Having a bigger front radius provides great stability and forgiveness in every snow condition. VENTURI TIP & TAIL – The Venturi Tip and Tail concept is found exclusively on SCOTT skis. The Venturi geometry decreases the running surface pressure, allowing the ski to track better with less effort, meaning the ski will be more forgiving without sacrificing performance. PRE-TRACK – SCOTT’s Pre-Track technology allows a variable effective edge depending on terrain. The unique shovel and tail geometry offers a smaller effective edge for short radius turns on groomed slopes and a longer effective edge when making bigger turns or skiing off-piste. The result is a more precise, stable and versatile ski. WOMEN’S SPECIFIC DESIGN – All women’s skis feature specific construction, meaning they are designed to be light and lively while meeting the levels of performance that serious women skiers demand. FACTORY FINISH – SCOTT skis come direct from the factory ready to ski with SCOTT’s Factory Finish. Factory Finish offers an effective edge angle of 88°, resulting from a 3° side and 1° base angle for an exceptional performance. Their molds are shaped to provide more room for the first metatarsal, room for the “sixth toe”, room for the navicular bone, asymmetric malleoli that match the body’s natural asymmetry, and a deep, supportive heel cup with space for common heel spurs. Toe width and height have been increased for an even more comfortable fit.

REPLACEABLE SOLES For versatility, POWERFIT boots have easy-to-change sole sets that are compatible with ISO and WTR boot norms. • The Alpine Sole Set is compatible with the ISO 5355 Alpine Norm. • The optional WTR Sole Set is compatible with the ISO 13992 Touring Norm and the ISO 9462 WTR norm. • These soles can be changed in a ﬂash, snapping securely into place, and fixed with hex bolts.

The powder basket is designed for powder performance, excelling in traversing situations. The basket is a solid 90 mm in diameter and has strategic holes to maintain a swing weight that is comfortable for everyday use.

The quick release ferrules mounted on all the mountain poles allow baskets to be easily removed and interchanged.

3.8 DISC BASKET

RE-ENTRY STRAP SCOTT ’s Re-entry Strap System features a fast and easy adjustment buckle system. The FX 15X25 straps are designed with a 25 mm wide strap on the back of the hand for additional support and comfort. The Re-Entry system provides a fast switch in the grabbing position.

The 3.8 Disc Basket is identical to the 3.6, but with 80mm in diameter for better performance in powder.

EG L GRIP

The FX 15X25 straps feature an increased strap width on the back of the hand for additional support. The injectionmolded nylon buckle exceeds a tensile strength of 800 psi.

New for 2015-16 is the low-extended version of the EG+ Grip, offering a 25cm grabbing zone.

FX 24 STRAP EG+ GRIP

The FX 24 strap is a parallel strap. It features an over-molded buckle and is slightly slimmer than the FX 15X25 strap.

The EG+ Grip is designed for going bigger and wider. The system combines a 10 cm extension. The low profile makes this grip extremely comfortable and easy to hold.

JUNIOR ADJUSTABLE STRAP 2K RUBBER GRIP The two-component grip offers a six-degree corrective angle for the best comfort for mountaineering.

FOAM CORK GRIP This Foam Grip is designed for multi-season use with bare hands.

Carbon Diamond Tip is a compound containing equal parts of tungsten and carbon and is approximately three times stiffer than steel. This high performance tip enhances traction on ice and guarantees better durability.

The Anodized Tip Adapter is designed to strengthen the tip of composite poles and is manufactured from aluminum alloy and pairs with the ice tip.

A HELMET EQUIPPED WITH MIPS® MIPS® is a low friction layer inside the helmet which allows the head to rotate relative to the helmet in an angled impact. This substantially reduces rotational violence and the potential for damage to the brain.

The arteries of many human heads were mapped and extensive pressure testing was conducted. While it certainly provided useful data on how to improve cooling of the head, our principle conclusion was that pressure on arteries is largely irrelevant when it comes to optimum comfort and fit.

MRAS FIT SYSTEM The Micro Rotary Adjustment System offers superior adjustment, comfort, and stability. It features an easy to use ergonomic dial enabling one handed fit adjustment, and incorporates flexible materials providing added comfort during use.

STEP 2: NERVE PATHWAYS Often when you fall, you fall at an angle. Your head is rotated, causing rotational violence to the brain and strong potential for concussion or more severe injuries.

ROTATIONAL VIOLENCE WITH A TRADITIONAL HELMET

It is no surprise that nerves are sensitive. The head is covered in nerve pathways, and they cannot all be avoided. By mapping the nerve pathways and in particular identifying the locations of sensitive nerve endings, our engineers were able to identify areas of high sensitivity, and areas of very low sensitivity.

VENT TECHNOLOGY THE SCOTT G-VENT SYSTEM The G-Vent System is SCOTT’s most advanced helmet venting system. Intake vents placed on the front of the helmet, just above the goggle, pull air through the goggle frame removing stagnant air that causes fogging. The result is a venting system that allows your goggle and helmet to breathe more efficiently.

The adjustable Active S-Vent System channels air over and around the skier’s head removing stagnant air from the helmet. The vacuum effect created when the S-vents are open, is even more easily adjustable thanks to a shell construction, allowing the rider to determine the right amount of airflow.

WARRANTY INFORMATION FOR WINTERSPORT, MOTOSPORTS, BIKE (EXCLUDING BIKES THEMSELVES) AND RUNNING (ONLY FOR THE USA; FOR OTHER COUNTRIES, SPECIFIC NATIONAL REGULATIONS APPLY) SCOTT USA INC. LIMITED TWO YEAR WARRANTY What is Covered? This limited warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship in your Wintersport, Motosports, Bike (excluding bikes themselves) and/or Running SCOTT branded products sold by SCOTT USA or an authorized SCOTT USA dealer (“Product”). How Long Does Coverage Last? This limited warranty lasts for two years from the date of purchase of the Product and is limited to the first purchaser of the Product. Transfer of the Product from the first purchaser to another person terminates this limited warranty. Any warranties implied by law are limited in duration to two years from the date of purchase of the Product and are limited to the first purchaser of the Product. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the foregoing limitation may not apply to you. Repaired or replaced Products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period and subject to the conditions outlined in the original warranty. What Will SCOTT USA Do? SCOTT USA will replace or repair any defective Product, or will refund your purchase price (as evidenced by your tendered receipt of purchase of the Product), at SCOTT USA’s option. You must pay charges in connection with replacement of any non-defective parts. In such a case, you will be alerted to the advisability of replacing non-defective parts, so you can pre-authorize the costs. What Does this Limited Warranty Not Cover? This limited warranty does not cover products used in rental operations. This limited warranty does not cover any defect caused by “wear and tear”, improper handling, abuse, misuse, an act of God, non-compliance with recommended maintenance and care procedures, improper or incorrectly performed maintenance or repairs performed by someone other than an authorized SCOTT USA dealer, and alteration of the Product. All Products come with a hangtag; please carefully follow the care instructions located there or affixed elsewhere to the Product. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this limited warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. To the extent permitted by law, this limited warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties; any and all other warranty is excluded. How Do You Make a Claim Under this Limited Warranty? To make a claim under this limited warranty, you must notify SCOTT USA of the claimed defect within the warranty period and timely return the Product to SCOTT USA at your expense for inspection. Please contact your authorized SCOTT USA dealer or call SCOTT USA’s customer service at 1-800-292-5874 during our normal business hours: 8AM-5PM Monday through Friday (MST) to make inquiries about this limited warranty and return procedures, and to obtain a return authorization number, which is required to process a return. All returned Product must be accompanied by proof of purchase (receipt) from an authorized SCOTT USA dealer or this limited warranty will not apply. In case of replacement or refund, returned Product becomes the property of SCOTT USA. How Do State Laws Affect Your Rights Under This Limited Warranty? This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
