Retailer and Objective ASOS is a British online retailer aimed at young adults. The website sells over 850 brands as well as its own private labels. ASOS ships to over 200 countries and has 168 suppliers who use 713 factories around the world. The website encourages the customer to be free and express their style on their own terms. ASOS follows through on this promise by offering up to size 30 at affordable rates and no ASOS model is retouched. COLLUSION, started in October 2018, is the newest private label by ASOS. Each collection is run by a group of 6 Gen-Z creators including designers, activists, and students, to create a collection designed by the people, for the people. Each year will bring in new creators and influences so that the collection stays up to date with the audience. COLLUSION also has a strong set of principles that reflect their audience. The brand is animal-free with the majority of cotton being sustainably sourced. The Spring/Summer ‘20 collection Wet Grass is taking COLLUSION’s small collection of unisex clothes and their connection to the environment to new levels. The entire collection is gender-neutral and works to break the unisex stereotype of gray, boxy clothes with various fits and layering possibilities. Wet Grass is inspired by the future of gender-neutral clothing and the way that clothes can be interpreted by each unique person to create a powerful whole, much like the way that individual blades of grass work together to make a field of green. Wet Grass will launch on the ASOS and the COLLUSION websites in sizes XS-6X with pants in the corresponding numerical measurements to fit the audience and stay with the inclusive theme of the brand.
