PAVILION of Yuejin Lantern Festival VISITOR FLOW

Fill the air into the plain plastic model. It will become a structure. This way, it can correspond with those lanterns at the Lantern Festival very well.

COMMERCIAL x RESIDENYTIAL

CONCEPT COLLAGE

ISSUE The sea breeds lives. But human beings exhausted ocean resources and destroyed ocean ecology within a century after Industrialization. Many creatures in the ocean are forced to accept the negative effects human brought them. Plastic waste, noise pollution and etc. These effects make those ocean creatures face their survival crisis.

The ground floor of the exhibition is an immersive exhibition. We dug half floor deep in part of the exhibition hall, and use glass fiber in a relatively Hauch place to create an illusion of an aquarium. People in the high place can experience the situation of the ocean creatures, while people in the low place can observe the aquarium from the perspective of human beings.

Immersive exhibition can make people experience the environment and the situation. We hope that people who come in to the exhibition hall can reflect on the relationship between human and ocean ecology by different experiences. Put themselves into other creatures’ shoes by the means of space dislocation.

原先casestudy可自承重的雙層板 結構與日本傳統改良的地獄結構, 利用兩者各自的優勢,將板狀結構 與柱狀結構結合,同時滿足結構與 覆層的需求,並使用一定的卡接順 序與特定角度的卡榫來固定木頭與 木頭之間。 未來期望可以透過此一卡榫單元做 各向度的無限連接,完成更大尺度 的作品。

[ LIGHT ON ] 人自古以來就對「深夜與黑暗」不由自主地產生生理 上的恐懼感,於是便有了「日出而作、日落而息」的 說法。但在工業化後電力改變了此人文結構,開始有 了夜生活、24小時不打烊的商家、在深夜工作、或從 事活動的人。 在「夜間活動的人」得仰賴路燈、車燈、室內透出的 燈光…等來照明,但對於人而言夜晚燈光光源是相對不 穩定且區域明暗對比十分明顯的狀態。 若是以人體自身為光源,且能夠平衡環境光呢?

C O N P E C T 基於人對夜晚的恐懼, 而打造一個自體發光的裝置, 能夠偵測環境光而產生不同的光強度。 在外殼發想上以美人魚的概念作參考, 試圖以壓克力形塑出水流的樣子, 並用其反光的特性製造水折射的既視感。 內襯材質的選用上, 則以白色的止滑墊當基底, 用來置入裝置與燈條, 棉花為暈染燈光的作用, 用金線與銀線來固定與縫合。
