Designed exclusively using products from the Steelcase Inc. portfolio, this office environment for the future incorporates principles of an Interconnected Workplace. The designer incorporated break-out spaces, group work zones, and private enclave spaces that can easily adapt to the three to six month turnover period for the consultants and entrepreneurs comprising this Think Tank organization. The rawfeel space allows for generative work sessions and rapid prototyping to allow entrepreneurs to discover what is next in innovation and allows for future growth.

COFFEE TABLE Based on the simple elegance of Scandinavian furniture design, this coffee table is engineered to deconstruct and fit into a standard UPS Suitcase box (22" x 14" x 19" external). As the project required all hardware to be completely necessary for the function of the design, the project is primarily dry-fit construction, except for glued joints on the shadowbox and screws to connect the legs to the shadowbox. The design on the tabletop inset was created using a CNC router.

Church Street Marketplace, Burlington, VT This combination retail and cafe space merges the experience of a traditional outdoor store with a more specialized higher-end retail and restaurant experience. Vitality's overall design focuses the elements of wrapping and enclosure. Specializing in the sale of canoes and kayaks, the building's design is based on traditional skinand-frame canoe construction, evident from the large wooden beams and the ovular shape of the mezzanine level, which mimics a kayak cockpit.
