Print process

Printing - Preparation To create my badges- I created a Photoshop file that was 25mm x 25mm, then created a circle in the center. I used this as a template to put each individual cat image onto, then I put them all into an A3 CMYK document to digitally print. I did the same for the key rings but at 35mm x 50mm.

Colour Preparation When I produced the images, I created the colours based on what would look best digitally – I did this by using the colour picker. If the symbol indicated to the right came up, it would not be suitable for print, so I chose the colour above for my Nicki Minaj outfits.

A3 Prints

To print my A3 Prints of the collections of 3 celebrity cats, I set the mode to CMYK and printed the images onto A3 Matt paper. I was happy with the results, the colours came out bright, and the paper felt smooth and of a professional quality.

Printing Postcards I printed my post cards double sided. I did this by opening 2 paged A3 documents in Illustrator, and then pasting 4 post cards (Backs). Then I uploaded each of my images (6in x 4in) and pasted them on top of each of the backs. Then I cut the cat images, pasting them onto the other page in place, so that they would be aligned. " Then I asked for the file to be printed double sided onto A3 card.
