FOUND THE IDEA

Group Five is a small 'design community' which combine with four Belgium students and four Chinses students. They have different culture background and speaks different languages. In order to communicate in a more efficient way, they use body langages as a tool to exchange ideas and infomation. By asking 'what time should we go back to the conference'. They responded the same answer in English but different way with hand gesture. Why Numbers?

Numbers are considered as one of the most common and simplest information that people exchange everyday. Chinese people use numbers to create meaning by imitating the similar sound of the Chinese character. What's more, in their culture each indivisual number has it's own meaning. (eg, 8 stand for 'Rich', etc.)
