Inside their beautiful shop, long wooden tables made from recycled wood invite customers to imagine the perfect gathering of family and friends. A wide selection of glass-fronted cabinets is another noticeable feature. Interior designer, Margarita, is on hand to help with choosing the right piece. And, if it isn’t in their showroom, they are able to order something bespoke to fit perfectly into your home. “It all begins with a measurement,” Margarita says with a smile. For all those weary of seeing the same styles endlessly repeated, Soulsophie makes for a refreshing change. “We don’t do perfect,” says Sofie. “And for us, that’s perfect.” Organic shapes, natural tones and weighty materials characterise the collection. While the past is honoured, the upcycling process has brought the decor into the present and given them a beauty which will be admired for years to come.
