Cover Letter Cover Letter Dear Mr. / Mrs. My name is Abdalla Essam Mohamed I am an Egyptian Architect, I graduated from Al-Azhar university, Engineering Faculty – Architecture Department at 2014 . I started to work as an architect since 2007, I worked at different kind of firms from Design studios through Consultancy offices to Construction Companies. I worked as an architecture designer, interior designer, assistant architect , architecture engineer , bim engineer and technical office engineer . This diversity in the positions and firms give me the ability to be better architect, caring for details and understand the comprehensive vision of the project, when to care for details and when to care for the final result, I managed some teams and worked with others , I worked with a other construction divisions, I worked with Civil , Electrical , MEP , Planner and Cost engineers . I doesn’t work hard, I doesn’t give my company my life , I don’t like to work in a bleak environment . I am an architect, I like to work smart in a familiar work environment to be able to create what is needed, to solve problems, to stay for hours from my awareness of the problem not to be forced to . to be able to get better and bigger through and with my work and my colleagues, This is me , I am open minded to any kind of work and location as long as it match my expectations .

Discription THE PROJECT MAIN TARGET was to upgrade a 40 acre land in the district of tura that is considered an informal residential area in Cairo. MY CONCEPT was built on Establishing an environmental ecological zone that helps to create a society that preserves the economic types of residents , cultural and cultural heritage of the existing communities and to promote it architecturally and create an environmental community that not only helps to reduce the negative impact of the urban community but also works to healing , reform and address the existing environmental system.
FIRST STEP was to choose the location that can be expand to cover all the district it was chosen between tura metro station on the east and river Nile on the west. which was part of old removed cement factory and considered one of the pollutest area in Cairo.

SECOND STEP was to study the ecological aspects and how to create a healing environment and after research it was all about oxygen productivity verse decreasing carbon emissions . this happen with choosing carefully the planets area and types that produce oxygen more than consumption

Discription THIRD STEP I want to add scientific value to the area and the region as one the undeveloped aspects in Egypt is scientific research that’s why it was chosen to be built in the high land value over the Nile to connect beauty , local life , gardens and to take part in every day habits in the area by divided it to two building one take the view of the Nile as a research center and another interact with the residential area as a library and communication center and a science valley .

FOURTH STEP was to design the urban and observe the residential , commercial and economic life style and respect the existing culture in the area that connect every area with the commercial path way and the shaded paths and the ability to walk less and to reduce the car footprint which done by creating main plaza connect metro station with the main road kornish road which was the main commercial center that save all the local activity and rehabilitate it with modern designs and creating small local commercial center between the residential areas and creating cars garage under the residential area and the car bath was only around project only and to the garage the middle walk distance was 200m as a maximum . FIFTH STEP was to create the sustainable residential building but to be able to make it sustain i was inspired by the old Islamic homes that depend on having an air path from north to south in the building to decrees the temperature in the summer enormously and heat it in the winter by closing the air path and let the sun in so i create the small flat to take the two direction north and south and managed the windows with mashrabia to control the sun light in the summer and enter it in the winter, also the residential building was designed to have roof gardens for every floor and in front the terraces achieve the ecological target.

THE LAND FACE SOME FACTS IT WAS SURROUNDED WITH SOLID NEIGHBOR ALL AROUND AND THE LAND WAS USED AS A PATH WAY TO THE AREA RESIDENTS. UNDER THESE FACTS WE STARTED TO DESIGN THIS BUILDING TO DEMONSTRATE THE LIFE COLORS TO THE PEOPLE AND TO BE ICONIC BUILDING IN THE MIDDLE OF IT AND RESPECT THE RESIDENTS NEED WITH A HEALTHY BUILDING RESPECT THE ARCHITECTURE AIR AND SUN REQUIREMENTS ALSO WITH THE SATISFACTION OF THE COMMERCIAL CLIENT TO GET AS MUCH AS WE CAN WITH A MINIMUM 70 SQM PER UNITE .

Discription THE SCHOOL OF ARCHITECTURE IN OSLO HAVE ANOUNCED THEIR 120 COMPITITION FOR STUDENTS WE COULDN’T RESIST TO COMPET IN IT. IT WAS ABOUT DESIGNING ALND MARK FOR THE OYA FESTIVAL THAT HAPPEN EVERY YEAR IN OSLO WITH HIS NEW LOCATION. THE AIM OF COMPITITION IS TO DESIGN A LAND MARK THAT CONNECT ALL MAIN 3 STAGES AND DELIVER A SIMPLE AND CLEAR SUSTAINABLE MESSAGE . OUR PROPOSAL WAS BUILT AROUNF MAIN POINTS 1-The main principle of sustainability is to leave the palance on eath between the nature and human sclupture so our main targwet was to leave the park open ,un coverd , un changed. 2- There is no thing to simulate sustainabilty better than the eath it self as a conflict supject between humans and there needs , aspiration , expectation so we use the high stretched earth as a meaning of these concepts to say this ( If we don;t care for our behavior on earth it will be teared a parts ) 3- To assure that the human race is one which is responsible to keep the earth clean livable able to handle our needs we used the DNA The human genome with it;s connections bases and butting earth one of these components to assure that if lose it ? we will be no longer human!!. ALL OF THESE PRINCIPLE REFLECTED ON OUR LAND MARK WITH: 1- The DNA STRUCTURE built with recycled steel 2 bars rotated around one center covered with lights and contains 2 stand with 2 different heights the total high is 30 m 2-The Connection Bases built with combined recycled plastic materials and woods and fabrics 3- The Festival Earth built with recycled plastic with 2 layers one with solid plastic take a spherical shape and exterior layer with soft plastic stretched hold a festival ball lights in the center of the shape
