Our Curriculum Our curriculum is a comprehensive system where all children can benefit and develop their abilities. Every child grows and learns at his or her own pace. Our Montessori-certified teachers establish and agree upon daily, weekly, and monthly goals, and every child has an individualized educational plan, based on his or her abilities and potentials. With frequent one-on-one interaction and personalized assessment of each child, issues and concerns are quickly addressed as they emerge. We believe that cooperation and communication between parents and teachers are in the child’s best interest, and that is why detailed reports of your child’s progress are presented to you at Parent-Teacher conferences twice a year. And because our teachers know precisely where your child is academically, developmentally, socially
and emotionally at all times, we keep you informed of any concerns throughout the year. Inside the classrooms, all our Montessori materials have been carefully designed to enable children to become active participants in their own learning process. The activities have also been thoughtfully devised to develop all four areas of development: physical, cognitive, emotional, and linguistic (both Arabic & English). Outside the classrooms, with our well-equipped gym, outdoor play areas, swimming pool, and gardening plots, we bring your children closer to nature to help widen their horizons and let their curiosity to discover their world run free.

Montessori Core Subjects So what will your children do all day in Trillium? Here’s a taste of what we have to offer.
Exercises of Daily Living Children learn to care for themselves and the environment and each child develops a sense of mastery and self-confidence. Tasks such as sweeping, polishing, washing and preparing snacks help children develop coordination, concentration, and good work habits, such as completing a task.
Language Using simple alphabet cutouts and sandpaper letters, children learn the sounds of letters and soon are linking letters to make words, then words to make sentences. Children soon progress to writing letters.
Cultural Subjects These include geography, history, zoology, botany, science, and art. Children learn about people, their countries, and the world through food, music, pictures, flags, maps, artifacts, holiday celebrations, and other cultural observations.
Sensorial Exercises Montessori materials are designed to heighten the child’s senses of sight, touch, sound, taste and smell, which are a key to understanding and classifying the environment. By thoroughly knowing the concrete, children develop a foundation for understanding the abstract.
Mathematics Materials such as rods, beads, sandpaper numerals, cards and counters allow students to visualize the abstraction of numbers and understand basic mathematical operations. Self-correcting materials help children learn not only number recognition and place value, but also problem solving and developing a visual image of mathematical concepts.

After School Care (Extra Time) Available for ages (3 to 5)
Our after school care provides fun, recreation, and relaxation to children. They enjoy supervised arts and crafts, sports, and music.
At Trillium, we have two main goals, to help children understand themselves and to help them understand the world around them. At Trillium, children learn to take decisions, make plans, solve problems, and see mistakes as opportunities to grow and learn.
