Vision: To foster a safe space and a healthy environment that allows MedSIN-ISMSA Members & Team of Officials to work together towards achieving our goals. And to promote MedSINISMSA External Affairs. Goals: - Empowering Leadership - Effective Planning & Sustainability - Impactful Multi-Standing Committees Activities - Scaling Up External Activities


As soon as the new Team of Officials is selected, and after the first TOM is conducted, there will be a 3-4 days of excessive capacity building sessions given by the former TO’s and/or MedSIN-SUDAN trainers if needed. The main aim is to fully capacitate the new Team of Officials (Local Officers & Support Division Directors), so they can be well prepared to fulfil their tasks during the term.

My LMO Management plan will mainly focus on minimizing the gap between the members and Team of Officials/EB. I will begin the term by doing the following:

1 - Local Officers Capacity Building week:
2- ISMSA Debates: Debating is a very important skill that we need as medical students in the future, and we can acquire by practicing it. With the help of the Local Officers and Support Divisions Directors I will initiate a monthly debating challenges so as to increase members engagement and improve their debating and research skills.

5- ISMSA Local GA: A National/International General Assembly is an annual chance to advocate for IFMSA/MedSIN-SUDAN through the exchange of ideas, networking, and learning from the different programming sessions and activities. However, a Local General Assembly doesn’t differ much from the aforementioned ones substantially.
The EX-TOs hosted and for the very first time a Local Plenary where the amended constitution was adopted, and the TOs/EB presented their annual reports. The ISMSA Local General Assembly will mainly feature: -Standing Committees Sessions -Trainings -Activities Fair -Best members awarding members -Plenary
3- ISMSA Articles: A monthly challenge for all MedSIN-ISMSA members to write and submit articles related to their standing committees. The main aim of this activity is to enhance the members research skills and knowledge on their standing committees different topics and focus areas.
4- SCOPE/SCORE Activation Process: It is known that the exchange offices in our LMO are not fully activated yet. With the help and assistance of the former LEOs/LOREs and/or current ones, a needs assessment is going to be made to evaluate the current offices situation and according to that assessment a working plan is going to be devised so as to complete the activation process after the call is opened by the NT. Contact with the NT is going to be made for any assistance and/or instructions.


6- ISMSA Trainers Database: This database will serve as a clear archive for all MedSIN-ISMSA Trainers and facilitators that have attended International/Regional/National CB workshops!

2- Capacity Building: - External Affairs CB Sessions/Workshops/Activities will be conducted to capacitate the interested members with the needed skills and knowledge on External Affairs. - External Affairs Programs that will include collaboration with NGOs like UNDP/UNFPA/UNHCR/etc.. To increase the members knowledge about NGOs & International Organizations. - Increase members participation in external events by sharing calls and encouraging them join the different IFMSA servers and groups.
The External Affairs plan will consist of 2 pillars: Sustainability Capacity Building
External Affairs
- National/International Activities: I will encourage the members to join the different IFMSA/MedSINSUDAN servers to ensure their participation in the National, Regional & International Activities.
1- Sustainability: - Working alongside with the VPE, we will ensure to sustain our existing partnership/s, while seeking to collaborate with new partners for new opportunities.
- Local Officers encouragement to collaborate with other LMOs/NMOs & NGOs. - NCs & NB Meetings: As a President I will commit myself to attending all the NCs/NB Meetings, and a representative is going to e delegated in the case of my absence.


A flexible Fundraising Strategy Plan will be devised to finance our projects and activities, and it will mainly focus on: -Activities revenues Bazars & open days -External Donations from partners -ISMSA Merchandise: With the help of the PNTSDD, we are going to make different items like (T-Shirts, Mugs. Notes, etc..) to promote the LMO and to use the revenues in funding future activites. Fundraising

Goals: 1 Members Engagement (150 Active members) 2 LMO Sustainability Activation Process
Encourage the TOs to work on their successors to guarantee MedSIN- ISMSA sustainability.
Create members database for each standing committee.
Work with the local exchange officers (LEO/LORE) in assessing the current SCOPE/SCORE situation Encourage the local exchange officers to urging the NEOs/NORE to open the activation process call
3 SCOPE/SCORE
Encourage the TOs and assist them in conducting regular local meetings with their members to strengthen the bond and follow up with their situation.
Objectives: Gather Information Strategy Development Implementation
Encourage the TOs to work on the members Facilitation skills by letting them facilitate discussions and even local meeting from time to time to ensure well capacitated and engagement of the members.
Alongside the PNTSDD I will establish MedSIN-ISMSA certificate issuing system to motivate the members.
Strategy
Encourage the TOs to create members tracking sheets that will help in monitoring the performance of all MedSIN-ISMSA members. Ensure all National, International opportunities are being shared with them.

Ensure all the TOM details are being sent 48 hours before the TOM. Open observation calls for all MedSIN-ISMSA members from time to time.
Involve the TOs in the process of facilitating TOMs from time to time to help them build their facilitation skills.
-Members needs assessment forms: The VPI will open a needs assessment form at the beginning of the term to asses the old members knowledge and to know the new members needs so as to capacitate them accordingly.
I am going to guarantee the sustainability of our work by:
Work Sustainability
Ensure that the TOM will always be a safe place for the TOs to share their opinions, obstacles, fears, feedbacks and support.
-Activities Monitoring: This will be done by assigning EB members to follow up with the Local Officers & Support Divisions Directors to ensure a high quality of their activities, wether they were facilitating it themselves or by an external facilitator.
Ensure all the TOMs are conducted timely.
Ensure the documentation and archiving them of TOMs Setting the TOM agenda and involve the TOs on choosing the theme of the TOM through doodle poll.
-Reports: Monthly activities reports are going to be sent by the TOs in order to evaluate the SCs/SDs situation and to improve their work in future activities.
TOMs:

1- Monitoring: - TOs performance is going to be monitored based on tracking sheets and reports . - Activities are going to be monitored and evaluated by the VPI . 2- Evaluation: - TOs performance is going to be evaluated in accord with ISMSA scoring system. - Activities are going to be evaluated based on tracking sheets and reports by the VPI & I. Monitoring & Evaluation

The term is going to be divided into 3 phases, each phase will have specific targets and tasks; Phase one: - Handover: Work with former President to ensure a smooth, proper and timely handover, establish a good background knowledge to ensure the continuity of work. - Maintain & Promote the achievements done by former Presideng. - Prepare for ISMSA New Comers Session. - Encourage TOs for more joint-SC activities. - Prepare MedSIN-ISMSA delegates for the SNGA. - ISMSA Debates - ISMSA Articles - Keep contact with other LMO presidents by participating in NC/NB meetings.
