Abdelrahman Al Dirbiji

I am a full professor of English & Translation Studies & former Dean of the College of Languages, Sana'a University, Yemen & former Provost of Hodeidah University,Yemen. I earned my BA degree in English from the Sudan in 1977, MA in English from Portland State University, USA in 1980 & my PhD in Education (TESL) from the University of Kansas (USA) in 1983. I served as a visiting professor at several universities including the University of Minnesota (USA) the University of South Carolina, Columbia (USA), King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, the University of Manchester Institute of Science & Technology (UK), the University of East Angelia (Norwich, UK), the University of Rome (Italy), the Texas Lone Star Community Colleges (USA), the University of Leipzig (Germany). As of October 2012, I will be in Poland in association with the University of Warsaw as an Erasmus Mundus Postdoctoral Scholar During the Fall semester 2013, I will be in Sweden in association with the Arabic & Translation Studies Program of the U
