of housing products that allow varying degrees of community integration.
New typologies are introduced such as
courtyard houses and stacked town-houses, that challenge the status qou of today’s housing choices.
By providing the privacy and autonomy often
associated with the detached villa typology, these new typologies maintain this key balance in all community sizes from courtyard units to town-houses to villas.

About People often look for apartments within the city centre. If they don’t find something suitable in terms of cost they start moving outwards. As a result families are starting their lives in neighbourhoods with low land value. Diverse Residence is a project that suites families that are starting a fresh start. A residential complex where the house grows as the family grows.
Concept The project aims to serve the apartment diversification in Jeddah. Many new families can›t afford to live in high-class neighbourhood apartments.

Phase 1 Within the house is a sequence of three spaces. Spaces that are stored in our memories and imagination. We think of this house in terms of scents and smells and lighting and sounds, even noise in terms of dimness, shadow, light enclosure and exposure, openness and containment, intimacy and spaciousness, density and looseness, looking out, being inside. We don’t think of this house in terms of form.
Phase 2 All the spaces are translated into physical architectural elements. The house has to be fully functional while reflecting all the spaces into liveable places. and giving every place a function. Materials play a huge role in this phase where they directly affect the user. All the architectural, plumbing, electrical, and structural plans are provided with the smallest details when needed. The house is treated as a form.

The Narrative Of Coffee
Coffee is a precious global commodity. Ever
since its rise centuries ago from Mocha in Yemen via the Ottomans, the coffee plant has been the focus of large agricultural projects to plant and harvest coffee beans.
As part of the Social program for Elixir Bunn
HQ, we propose a space that tells the complete lifecycle of coffee. The interior design elements are directly inspired by the different stages of coffee production from soil selection to brewing.

About
A mixed-used building that contains offices,
retail, as well as residential apartments.
Concept
The main lesson from this project is how to
make a space that suits both offices and residential apartments. A whole floor plan can be changed from offices to residential apartments if needed without facing any plumbing, HVAC, or circulation problems.

WHAT SHOULD THE CINEMA AT HAYY OFFER? A culture for the audience and a resource for the local film industry professionals.
MULTIPLE CINEMA SPACES The design challenges with such cinema spaces are mostly related to the balance between the forms of viewing and the supporting services which may provide the opportunity to manipulate various events in the space. This proposal offers a formal cinema, informal cinema, and a forum space.

About The Abdulrahman Al Sudairy Cultural Centre (AACC) is hosting an international open competition for the redevelopment of the existing Dar Al - Uloum Public Library and surrounding campus located in Sakaka, Al Jouf Region. The call for a redevelopment stems from a desire to reinvigorate new life into the library in order to make the Centre once again a meaningful public place to promote learning and community engagement.
Concept The main concept of the renovation is to integrate the building with the context as much as possible. As well as preserving as much energy as possible. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide the highest quality of space possible in terms of natural lighting and materials.

MOVEMENT & FLOW The design challenges with such workshop spaces are mostly related to the balance between the rigidity of equipment and service infrastructure and the ability to provide free movement and work surfaces in the space.
EQUIPMENT ZONE To maximize the efficiency and organization of the space, each activity is assigned a node which accommodates the equipment related to each specialization (carpentry, metalwork..etc).
WORK SURFACE ZONE In addition to equipment dependent work, many activities require work surfaces for assembly, manual labor, storage, and other activities.

Project Specific Work Surfaces
In addition to equipment dependent work, many activities require work surfaces for assembly, manual labor, storage, and other activities. These can be split into 2 categories: Working Surfaces are combined with storage and pushed against the walls
1. Shared Work Surfaces: to be used interchangeably by users 2. Project Specific Work Surfaces: to be assigned for the duration of any given project for assembly storage or special equipment.

Unit Assembly
About 22 brightly coloured units equalling in number the 22 states of the Arab League are arranged in different constellations to offer new viewpoints of geographies, nations and the power to imagine other realities. No unit can stand on its own, but has to be grafted onto others. Some constellations seem hierarchical, others more egalitarian. Geographical Child’s Play conjures up poignant and surprising alignments and dependencies. Stretching nearly 10m as a line or barely 3m as a circle, Geographical Child’s Play is Bricklab’s most public and engaging sculpture so far.
