To whom it may correspond: Jules ChĂŠret, an important and very influential French artist of Graphic Design who lived in the 19th century and early years of the 20th century, travelled to London to learn the technique of lithography. When he went back to England he improved his technique on billboard based on what he had learned in London. Bauhaus School changed his location due to political and social reasons, which enriched the works that were being carried out and clearly influenced the way they worked in different places. Massimo Vignelli, the most important and influential designer of the end of 20th century and beginnings of 21st century, studied in his hometown Mi-
lan, but ended up in New York. He was very young when he arrived in the city, which changed his way of life and offered him a new point of view. And probably his works developed accordingly. These are just some examples: different people from different times, with less possibilities and means than we have nowadays. They show that in the life of artists, their studies are as important as their surroundings: the cities which they visit, the languages they speak, the different habits of other countries that they know, the people they meet, the new experiences they live, all conform their visual and perceptive evolution. In my opinion, it is essential that we break out our comfort zone and go to a different country, as Por-
tugal would be for me, with a different culture, another language and new people who could provide new points of view. For all of this, as soon as I was aware of the possibility of visiting another country to complete my studies, I did not think it twice. Portugal is a neighbouring country but we Spaniards may not know it much, which attracted me even more. I am conscious of the importance of being part of this project, so I am addressing you to apply for the scholarships that you grant. I come from Soria, a small and hard working province located not far North of Madrid, the capital of Spain. I currently study the speciality of Graphic Design in the School of Arts and Design of Soria. I understand that this would be a great opportunity for me, firstly because it would help me learn
a new language, Portuguese, and also improve my English, as Portugal is a multicultural country where people of many different countries live and meet. Secondly, it would let me know other ways of studying, new methodologies and professional techniques in Graphic Design. And finally, it would help me open my mind and grow not only as a professional designer but also as an adult and find new ways of living. As I mentioned before, I am conscious of the unique opportunity that the Erasmus program is and I am convinced that I would take a great advantage of it in order to get the most of it for my future professional life. Photography, tipography & packaging. Multidisciplinary project that combines photography, typography and packaging. It recalls the passing of time, which is represented by the evaporation of a liquid and the effect that it creates on the 3-dimensional letters formed by the development and set up of a sans serif typeface.
The areas that are inside the liquid, water in this case, are deformed and have rounded dreamlike shapes, while the areas outside are colder geometrical shapes framed by edges. All this provides an interesting and contrasting effect to the photograph.

Photography. Simulating a real assignment and therefore, following conditions established in advance, this campaign is carried out with social and informational aims to raise awareness. It consists of a series of billboards which had to include photographic language. The images, all of them in the same style to create that sense of series, are an important part of the billboard, but it is the text what creates and closes the message so it is understood by the public.

It is formed by a direct word in white colour in the forefront (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner). It refers to the moment when we receive this kind of news. In the lower part of the background, in yellow, there is a real piece of news which contrasts with an usual and trivial action which takes place during that same moment of the day.

Posters. Series of billboards which develop the creative process, from its conceptualization to its execution. It is the promotional project of the School of Arts and Design of Soria.
Geometrical figures that make up the whole are being laid gradually on yellow background by means of a grid.

Editorial design. Redesigning of the collection Contraseñas (Passwords) of the Spanish publishing house ANAGRAMA. According to its website, the collection is “a bold, daring proposal with a terrific humour - outlaw literature it is called - which makes this an unique collection that has no correspondence in the current publishing world”
The covers and the inner pages of the book were redesigned, as well as an advertising brochure of the collection.
