What are your career goals?
My intent is to go to law school and become an international human rights lawyer. With my degree and license, I want to work for an international organization, such as the United Nations or work in human rights advocacy.
When did you start at Aberdeen Hall?
I joined Aberdeen Hall in Grade 11.
How do you think your time at Aberdeen Hall has prepared you for post-secondary?
My two years at Aberdeen Hall have taught me a lot, but what has prepared me the most is the support of the community. The strength I have found in my friends, peers, and teachers has allowed me to achieve my social and academic goals, such as receiving an admission offer to the University of Amsterdam.
How do you think you’ve changed or grown in your last year of High School?
I have experienced growth in my approach to balancing my school priorities and my social life. I have learned that both are equally as important and valuable to your development as a well-rounded person.
Tell us about an accomplishment you’re proud of.
An accomplishment that I am proud of being a semi-finalist for the Loran Scholars Foundation. As a semi-finalist, I was part of the top 5% of applicants, and it was an amazing experience connecting with other young change-makers from across Canada. I am very excited to receive my certificate of recognition in June.
