(Martin Scorsese, USA 2016, 159mins, some subtitles) Martin Scorsese’s epic film tells the story of two Christian missionaries (Andrew Garfield and Adam Driver) who face the ultimate test of faith when they travel to Japan in search of their missing mentor (Liam Neeson) - at a time when Christianity was outlawed and their presence forbidden.

Lucian Msamati (Luther, Game of Thrones) stars in Peter Shaffer’s iconic play. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, a rowdy young prodigy, arrives in Vienna determined to make a splash. Awestruck by his genius and seized by obsessive jealousy, court composer Antonio Salieri begins a war with Mozart, with music, and ultimately with God. 3.5hrs.

(Christophe Lourdelet, Garth Jennings, USA 2016, 108mins) Set in a world entirely populated by animals, a theatre owner attempts to stage a grand singing competition. Taron Egerton provides one of the voices in this colourful and fun animation from the makers of Minions.

Rescreening by popular demand, this is the last chance to catch the RSC’s magnificent technical achievement of bringing Shakespeare’s tale of magic and revenge to the stage. Starring Simon Russell Beale. 3hrs.

(William Trevitt, Michael Nunn, UK 2016, 74mins) Based on the hugely successful stage production, this is the first feature film production from the BalletBoyz dance company, screening in a specially extended version.
