(Charles Reisner, Buster Keaton, USA 1921/1928, 22mins + 71mins) A sparkling remastered edition of Buster Keaton’s wonderfully funny film. The operator of a plush new paddle steamer is determined to put his rival out of business: a rotten old hulk of a ship with a grizzled old Captain to match. When the Captain’s estranged son comes to visit, his father expects a man equally grizzled and determined to take on the big company. Yet instead he turns up with a ukulele, a beret, and no boating skill whatsoever … setting the scene for a series of wonderful sight gags and some brilliant slapstick comedy!

The death-defying act combined with jaw dropping 3D cinematography creates a truly unforgettable experience.
