ABHISHIKA MISRA 2 0 2 1
H ! I’m Abhishika Misra.
I’m a student pursuing my passion for design. Studying in a creative field has given me the opportunity to travel, explore and learn the ways of life from a perspective that only a few can visualise. Working closely with aspiring architects, with incredible ideas and distinct ways of interpretation, has heightened my ability of collaboration, communication and leadership. I consider myself to be versatile and diligent. I am always ready to explore and diversify my thought process. Architectural design, to me, is the creative release of my imagination of the world around us. My experiences from travelling around the globe are strongly reflected in my design methodology.
02
Interior architecture is the evocative collaboration of my passion for architecture and my love for interior design.

| MINIMAL AND PRAGMATIC | This office space is located in Asia’s largest industrial zone, Peenya. The finance, management and IT units of this industiral company require a modern, fresh office space that inspires collaboration and efficieny. The cafeteria design for the office is the large breakout space which promotes communication and relaxation. This floor houses the cafeteria, a games room and a training room, all separated by movable partitions. Carpet area: 400sqm
The plan for the terrace floor of the office accomodates the serving counter and cafeteria , the training room and the games area. The entire perimeter of the space is sorrounded by planters and low partitions between seating spaces are landscaped. White jaali blocks are used as semi-porous full height partitions. They act as Physical separaters but allow for some visual connectivity. These blocks also become an accent feature . The training and games room are separated by movable partitions to allow for a larger space in times of company gatherings. The mood for the whole floor is envisioned to be light, fresh and airy.

The matrial moodboard consists of pine wood textures, along with light use of cane in the furniture shutters. White duco paint for the wardrobe adds a light relective surface to brighten up the room. The matt black wood laminate for the tv and study unit , along with the cane, are contrasting textures to the wardrobe. All these textures are brought together using the pine wood laminate. The master bathroom takes on a more warm, yet refreshing mood with the use of green tiles against the soft grey.

FOREST K A B
RESORT I N I
| TROPICAL LUXURY | The forest resort in kabini is designed with private luxury villas, all in tropical contemporary architecture. Each villas has its own private courtyard with a lounge and swimming pool. These areas are filled with lush greenary and vivrant colours. The mood for the entire project is to blur the lines between the outdoor and the indoors. This is achieved by using earthy textures and materials with accent wood furniture. The entrance gate for the project is sculptured within nature itself.

E NT RAN CE G A T E moodboard The entrance gate to the vforest resort is designed to blend with the nature that surrounds it . Earthy textures such as that of wood and stone have been used heavily in the design to mimic natural forms. The vertical slates in the boundry wall are adorned with creepers to allow for nature to take effect in the long run. The idea of the resort being camoflaged in nature begins with the entrance gate to the property. The vertical stone columns at regular intervals suggest the location to be a landmark and the gate and logo wall have accents of brass to stand out at any time of day.
