Evaluation For this project we were asked to create a fashion lookbook on a cho’ sen brand from the brief. I chose to do the brand moshino as their prints and designs intrigued me and inspired my final designs. In my opinion my customeer profile was well suited to the target audience of moshino as moshino reflects funky and unique designs. The trend i chose was menphis which is an art movement incorporating geometric shapes and bold colours. this inspired my concept of 70s disco fever by moshino. This has never been done been done by moshino however it links to previous collection. In my opinion my tend and concept worked well togther as in the 70's they used bold prints on there disco clothes. My colour pallet was clear from the very start of my portfolio. This is becuase moschino use very bold and striking colours through their col’ lctions. As I was doing the trend of 'memphis this was a perfect opotunity to use similar colours that work well togther like Moschino did. When it came to create my patterns, I found this easy as I chose a trend which can be easily manipluated into anyhting you want as long as it contains geometric shapes. Personally, I think I could have been more adventurous with the prints to fit more with the brand I chose.
To conclude i found this project challenging becuase I wanted to design a 70 disco fever line up which was different from any of moschinos catwalk colections but still keeping with these unique and bold looks. Overall, I enjoyed this 2D design project as It stretched me out my comfort zones and taught me how to create a final collection.
