Abigial Claire Tilton
Abigail Claire Tilton is the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas Woman's University. Abigial began her education at the University of North Texas, where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in social work in 1991. Abigail decided to jump right back into her education and went on to receive her Master's degree in social work from the University of North Texas in 1992. During her education, Abigail worked as a social worker at HCA-Lewisville Memorial Hospital. After graduating she went on to become the program manager for the Skilled Nursing Unit. This eventually led Abigail to serve as the Founding Executive Director of AIDS Services in North Texas. After doing this for six years, Abigail Claire Tilton decided to take a teaching fellowship at the University of North Texas while she pursued her doctoral degree in sociology. From there the rest was history, with Abigail deciding to pursue a career in education and slowly move up the ranks to her current role as dean.
