Ability Works Australia Ltd is a commercially competitive, not for profit social enterprise. As a social enterprise, we trade and reinvest for the benefit of our employees and the community. We have strong manufacturing capability working with metal and wire. We produce an array of metal products in varying volumes.
Our workplace has a flexible set-up so we can take on jobs and complete delivery with ease allowing flexible volumes to be handled with efficiency. We can store and dispatch pallets.

Concept Wire Industries In 2017, Ability Works manufactured 35,000 wire products to boost the range of Concept Wire Industries.

We are a major supplier of fundraising collection tins for charities and for fundraising events. We sell plastic pails or metal tins which we can brand for the customer.
Royal Children’s Hospital / 7 Network Since 2014 Ability Works has been working with the Good Friday Appeal. Each year we label, pack and refurbish 25,000 collections cans and eyelet 1,000 street warning signs, in a 2 week turnaround. We have set up a can numbering, collating and labelling system to facilitate the collection tin tracking.

We specialise in many different processes. We supply corporate event bags for conferences and trade shows. We can customise, assemble and pack themed bags and point of sale materials.
We have emerging capabilities in the digital space developing job specific scanning for testing and verification processes. We have on-site capabilities for online order fulfilment in the growing sector of online sales.
Murphy & Daughters
Transurban
Since 2010, Murphy & Daughters has engaged Ability Works to assemble and package a beautiful and bespoke range of soaps, character shaped heat pillows and luxury gift boxes. The work included 5,000 luxury gift boxes delivered in two weeks, for a New York trade show.
Ability Work has been checking returned e-tags since 2012. We process over 1000 e-tags per day. To win the job we designed, then built a robot to digitally scan, test and sort each e-tag using pneumatics, a Programmable Logic Controller and database running on a SQL server.
