《不貧窮藝術節 X 香港》2019 的主題

《不貧窮藝術節》的特色 《不貧窮藝術節》對香港藝術圈而言是一個非常獨特的藝術節。我們知道在香港做 藝 術 很不容易，光 是 租 用場 地也 所費不 菲。所以我們稟 承《不貧 窮 藝 術 節》的 理念，以最實在的協助方法— 免費提供場地、免費基本 器材、免費宣傳、印刷、 票務及行政協助等等，讓藝術家能有一個專心和自由創作的空間和展現平台。除此 之外，相對起台灣的藝 術家需要無償演出，香港《不貧窮藝 術節》會 把所有演出 門票收入歸於該藝術家，以支持藝術家的創作生活，讓作品得以延續和發展。
2019年《不貧窮藝術節》的兩地大會主題為「由自己創造」。就像設計師在設計海報 時的概念一樣，希望我們都能打開乘載自身的容器，跨越和突破外在的約束，綻放 出真正的自己。 而今 年，香 港站亦希望以「有限．無限」這個概 念，更貼 近 地回應香 港 藝 術界的 現況，鼓勵藝術家在限制中活出自己。我們當然知道現實充滿限制，但不同的是我們 始終與你同行，那一處劃下邊界，我們就在那一處找尋機會！《不貧窮藝術節》作為 一個不限演出類型的藝術節，就像一個讓你不怕跌倒的起步點。只要你捉緊心繫 藝術的初衷，只要你願意踏出第一步，就讓我們一起把不可能變成可能！
三木劇作簡介 「我是葡萄樹、你們是枝子。 常在我裡面的、我也常在他裡面、 這人就多結果子。 因為離了我、你們就不能作甚麼。」 —約翰福音15章5節 三木劇作於二零一一年四月成立，並於同年九月於香港正式註冊為非牟利劇團。 致力於文字及 戲 劇創作，為香 港 其中一個以基 督教 教義 作為劇團宗旨的劇團。 劇團堅持以文本出發，以基 督精神為基礎，以不同語言創作，並不定期於歐洲、 澳 洲、香 港、台灣及內地公 演。希望 於不同的 演出形式中尋 求 新思 維 新 路向， 並致力發掘文字與劇場之間更多的可能性。 我 們 相 信 劇 場 與 社 會息 息 相 關，希望 能 透 過 戲 劇 提 出對 社 會 的 質 疑 與 探 索， 令創作者以至觀眾對現況產生提問，反思當下。

內容簡介 作為一個香港創作者，要維持自己的創作動 力確實不易，然而不同界別（視藝、舞蹈、戲 劇，音樂）的創作人也甚少跨界溝通及合作； 透過是次計劃，以多方面界別互相溝通為出 發點，並產生火花。 「創業難，守業更難」 是次計劃會以記錄片以及裝置藝術進行，以 視覺藝術家區文傑記錄不同界別的藝術工作 者的日常生活及其工作地方，並參與他們的 創作後創作對其呼應的作品，來令觀眾了解 他們的創作靈感和創作的原動力。
在 生 命 的 長 河 裡，不 時 湧 現 種 種 湍 急 的 暗潮 ─ 或 許 是 親 人 的不 理 解，或 許 是 來自 旁人眼神中的問號，更有可能，是我們自己心裡 脆弱的回音 我們都曾經因為這些暗潮而受 傷，甚至因而 衍生一連串的缺憾。很有可能，失去了前進的 動力！ 我們很想和您分享一個小小的秘密：這些傷痕 可以被 療 癒，它 雖 暫時 阻 礙了我們，但 若 能 溫暖地擁抱它，生命的新篇章，將會在我們的 眼前，峰迴路轉地展現新的美麗風景！ 製作單位簡介

為何名為「必需品」？
區文傑（b. 1995）利用攝影、裝置和影片等 不同媒介來表達作品概念。區氏的作品靈感 主 要 來 自 他 在 日常 生 活 看 見 的 人 與 事， 他深信日常生活會影響他的想法、情緒以至 創作成 果。區氏希望 透 過作品來 重 新了解 自己和呈現生活中的衝突。
我們認為劇場是我們生命中的必需品，就像在 我們身邊重要的陽光、空氣、水，它是這麼的 簡單卻又不可或缺。

內容簡介 有說：天地萬物皆是世界的幻覺。虛幻與現實的 界 線 從 來 模 糊，虛幻的事 物總是吸引著人 類。 我們不滿足讓 幻想留在 虛 空，所以透 過藝 術將 幻想帶到現實。人類很早已會利用多媒介（音樂、 舞 蹈、服 飾 器 物 等）將 疑 幻 似 真 的 故事呈現。 在古代社會擔當起祭祀以至教化之功能。幻覺祭 希望將古人富有創造力的祭典文化在當下重視， 不是 為了祭祀，亦 不以教化 為 任。單 純 是 一 群 藝術家希望揉合創意與手藝，希望能與群眾一起 在一個尋常的周日參與一場不尋常的慶典！ 製作單位簡介 腔棘 & Friends 腔 棘 C o e l a c a n t h 是 一 隊 二人 民 族 樂 器/ 世界 音樂 組合。早於 街 頭演出，常與 不同媒 介 藝 術 工作 者(如劇場/舞蹈/多媒體)共同創作，常用 樂器包括澳洲吹管(Didger idoo)、囗弦及手碟 (Handpan)等。 腔棘魚是一種被誤以為已絕種，卻又一直由4億年 前 存 活至今的遠 古魚類。腔 棘的音樂 與腔 棘魚 甚為相似；他們使用的民族樂器十分古老，甚至 被 認定已 經消亡。其實仍 存 在 並努力地向各 位 訴說著古老的故事。腔棘希望他們的音樂能如腔 棘魚一樣能見證進化，向內在進發，得到快樂。 (按：Didgeridoo是人類最早的管樂器，口弦則是 最早的弦樂器，Handpan則是一種近十年才被發 明的金屬樂器)。 腔棘

內容簡介 B.E.創作娛樂藝術總監陳安然早年於香港引入 潛入 式 劇場，目的是 為了讓 香 港劇場更多元， 觀眾的視野更寬廣。今天，潛入式 劇場漸被人 認 識 的同時；卻 發 現 其 發 展 的 空 間 變 得 越 來 越脆弱。到底是香港太多限制，或是突破的空間 太小？假如能推倒重來，潛入式劇場的光境還是 一樣？她不是來報悲，但你願意來聽聽藝術家的 心底話嗎？
於2017年年初，陳氏遠赴美國參加一個由雅禮協會 及香港經濟貿易辦事處所合辦，為期6個月的藝術 獎學金計劃，於耶魯大學的戲劇學院作交流；並於 同年6月創作出跨地域現場視頻演出「Never Stand Still」，參與了當地的 International Festival of Arts & Ideas。 有關B.E.創作娛樂 Banana Effect為香港多元化藝術團 體，骨幹成員大多留學海 外，曾感 受不同地域的劇場及藝術文化，希望 將所學所得帶回香港，其大力推廣 潛入式劇場 (Immersive Theatre)， 改變觀眾對傳統舞台劇的觀念，為進場的觀眾賦予 角色，讓他們參與成為故事的一部份，為香港的 劇屆及藝術生態帶來衝擊。他們致力參加海外的 交流 計 劃，曾先 後 到冰 島及 美國作藝 術交流， 另外，也致力推動不同類型的戲劇教育。他們認為 潛入式劇場 (Immersive Theatre) 能給予觀眾一 個超越五官的體驗，以第一身的遊歷去經歷整個 演出，讓觀眾以自身的經歷去作反思，帶來其他 劇場形式不能提供的效果。

內容簡介 小島之上，海風吹散老人的白髮。黎連壽口中哼 著輕盈自在的漁歌：「大船拋住沱濘頭誒，舢舨 送郎賴氏州呀，咪俾東風吹窒你妹娘裙尾呀，細 魚投胎潡肚白呀，燈盞無油誒是黑岩 」 城市之中，昔日漁民黝黑皮膚仍沾滿海鹽。有人 以漁歌表演，在社區教育兒童；也有人以漁歌傳道， 敬拜上帝。漁歌成了這些水上人心靈的避風港， 回首艱苦的前半生，竟 能 憶苦思甜。日子久了， 漁民記憶 褪 色，漁歌 從 海上 飄 到岸上，沉澱 成 安撫心靈的淡然之音。 製作團隊 監製： 馮美華、嚴惠英

Waterbeargulu is an illustration character based on a micro animal which called tardigrade. Being a local resident of Nam Sang Wai, most of his illustrations and animations are related to the life of living in Hong Kong countryside, as well as being a lonely artist. He also works on installation art by using objects found in nature to emphasise the relationship between natural spaces and his works.

This exhibition is about demolishing, deconstruction and recreation, it is a process of envision the fall and the loss, towards the goal of re-examination.

On the small isle of Tap Mun, the ocean breeze gently lifts up strands of grey hair on Lai Lin-shau’s head. He quietly sings in the characteristic tones of the fisherman’s ballads “Anchor large boats at the tip of To Nin, a sampan sends the lover to Sai See Island...”. The melody alters with his moods and, seemingly without rules, the pitch and tones alternate and repeat themselves as if they were synchronising with the ocean waves.

The deeply tanned skin with a whiff of sea salt coming off their bodies is the distinctive sign of an ex-fisherman to the city dwellers. As the fishing community shrinks, they found new ways of life on land. One performs and teaches the ballads to young children; another uses the ballads to spread her Christian faith. The ballads have become a spiritual harbour for these landed fishermen and appear to offer solace and certain selective nostalgia to a life of hardship. These ballads were once part of the nautical landscape of Tap Mun and as the memories of the fishermen’s past lives fade, the words and melodies have come ashore bringing spiritual serenity to those who would hear the songs of the sea. Onnie Chan is the founder and artistic director of Banana Effect, a group dedicated to advancing the art of immersive game theatre. She is also a director, playwright and an actress. She was graduated in Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in BA Acting (Hon) and Royal Central- School of Speech and Drama.
In this workshop, children and parents will move their creative body through story-telling and exploring the moon formation. At the same time through the moving of the creative body, to understand the relationship between the lightness and darkness of the moon. Let’s come to join us and dance together with the light and the moon! Profile Founded in 2015, Rice Journey Studio is dedicated to promoting creative movement education. It is based on the concept of “Learning by moving”. It guides children to move the body, observe and discover in life and presents creative thinking by using different artistic ways. Rice Journey Studio has collaborated with different institutions and kindergartens to organize different forms of creative movement educational courses and workshops. Content A few years ago, Onnie Chan, the artistic director of Banana Effect, introduce Immersive Theatre in Hong Kong. She did it because she wanted to create a more exciting theatre scene for both the industry and the audience. Today, immersive theatre is no longer a new term for the audience, but the development of immersive theatre become vulnerable. Are there too many limitations in Hong Kong or the room for breakthrough is too small? What if we demolish everything and restart again, will the same things happen to Immersive Theatre? Onnie is not here to grieve, but are you willing to listen from the bottom of her heart?
Later she became the Creative Director and Design Manager of “Freeinghk!” and studied in the School of Drama and School of Art in Yale University. She had also joined the International Festival of Arts & Idea, and her production has been seen in Iceland and the US. About Banana Effect Banana Effect was founded by a group of energetic young artists. Most of them have studied abroad in different art fields. They have also experienced varies of different cultures. Therefore, they are adventurous and innovative. Apart from making Immersive Game Theatre, Banana Effect also addressed to making art popular for everyone. Content Every art piece aims to breakthrough herself and bring something new. ‘Linking’ is the theme, it shows different kind of love by the colours and the interactions between people, love is magical and powerful, it brings joy and satisfaction, which is the theme of the show; we are not ‘poor’ because of love. Artist Profile Lia Yung is a post-80s generation, born in Macau and moved to Hong Kong in 1992. After completed a Graphic Design Course, she realised that her passion is on painting, right after that she took a step further on illustration and fine art. During the studies, she held her first solo exhibition in 2018, and been active to participate in group exhibitions since 2014. Content Siu Man has been so dedicated to drama since she was very young. For some reason, people tended to keep their distance from her. Somehow her performing career moved along with never ending failure. By the time she had come to her career's dead end, she started a live show named “Persona non grata”, a live performance to showcase her past miseries and failure. Perhaps people like to peep at the disappointment of others, it gained unexpected success. Tonight she had to move into a very small studio where the smell of new paint merging to her old memories still lingers. Such state of immersion of colour and memories stripped off her well kept vigilance, and her hidden stories of the past are to be revealed. The Persona no Grata is coming on stage. Done wandering, finally I know how to tell my anger and dreams a young man should have.
C said: there is no ‘makye ame’.

Who doesn’t want to run away from this depressed city today? It was that year, in Berlin, when I was desperately trying, to fight for a chance to stay. In a rebellious city, we sought peace that we longed for. Life went on with hope and anxiety, as I, at ease and under repression, ran out of time. I struggled and I wrote songs. “Who are we? Where is home? What’s the reason to come and go?” I couldn’t help asking myself and It’s like a spike in my mind.
Before any talk, is the dialogue between the poet and themself.

Content We began, seventy thousand years ago, left our homeland at the brim of sunlight. Yet however, we come under the last light of the day. In the year of 2442, we will face the failure of the twelve space colonization, announcing that we have run our course. What makes us now, is our past. We sprout, we expand, we are still in the pot. If humans are destined to wander, then what’s left in the far far away? Profile Feast in Waste Land is established in 2019, with physical training and collective work that translates into our creation. We experiment for possibilities and diversities, exploring and flourishing from the ponderation with the audience, reaching for the further and more. The world is a waste land, that we are eating into, and what we are part of.

Maybe we all need a different place to say who we truly are. This is a story belong to me, my children, and all female creature. During the pregnancy, every little change is surprised and astonished. Wherever it happens, the only thing I can do is to get along with it. I always remember that day, I looked at the darkness, the power which wants to push me down. Just a second, we looked each other. I have to choose that go down with my past or conquer the unknown. But in a meanwhile, I understand there it is. Profile Wu Wei-Wei and Tso Han-Cheih founded the Double & Cross Theatre Group in 2014 in Taiwan. We co-cooperated with different production and titles; we are performers, directors, stage manager/ executive producer, and educators. All we want is to be in the theatre for a second, also we are heading to break the limit between audience and production. Michael has directed and co-produced all Lies, Lies and Propaganda productions to date, namely Orpheus, Bicycle, Roadkill Confidential, Zeroville and Phaedra. Other directing credits include The Big Funk (Suspicious Woman Productions, 2015) and short film Gateway to the Stars, which won Best Actor and Actress at the 2015 Sci-Fi Film Festival. Michael is an Associate Artist with bAKEHOUSE Theatre Co., for which he co-directed Visiting Hours, assistant directed Jatinga and His Dark Materials, directed Love Field and stage managed Great Expectations. Michael studied Theatre Arts at Brown University in the United States, where he directed five productions before graduating in 2009.

Content Using Devised Theatre and Improvisation techniques he has learned and created over his career as an Actor and Drama/ Communication Educator, Michael will explore how to create images, characters and situations that can build towards a work of theatre, or even a just simple scene. All that is needed is a willingness to play and explore at the edge of your own comfort zone, in a safe and respectful manner. The Main Theme of LBTAF X HK 2019 In 2019, the shared theme for Hong Kong and Taiwan is “Create Your Own Way.” When we look at the poster, designer hope that we all can open up the vessel that hide us, breakthrough the limitation from that bound us, be able to show our true color. In addition, LBTAF X HK also come up with the concept of “Limitation / Infinity” in respond to the current situation in Hong Kong arts industry. We hope the festival could spot the opportunity for the young talents and empower each of them. LBTAF is an arts festival that welcomes all kinds of arts, it could be a great start point for the artist since we all have nothing to lose. It only works if you don’t afraid of failure. If you are willing to take this baby step, nothing is impossible!

Little things about LBTAF X HK LBTAF X HK is a unique arts festival in Hong Kong. We understand it is not easy and unaffordable to be an artist in Hong Kong; therefore, LBTAF X HK happened. We heritage the vision of LBTAF, and provide all kinds of FREE support to artist including venues, basic technical equipment, marketing and promotion, printing, ticketing, and administration support. With such supports, artists could be able to focus on their creativity. Besides, all the ticket sales go to the artists to help the artists to sustain.
