This is a true story set in the Japanese internment camps of WWII. As a young boy, Kenichi Zenimura (Zeni) knows that he wants to be a baseball player. He grows up to be a successful player, playing with Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. But when the Japanese attack Pearl Harbor in 1941 Zeni, his wife and two sons are sent to one of several internment camps. Once there, Zeni and his family bring the game of baseball to the camp, along with a sense of hope.
