Emily loved to dance.
She danced while waiting for the school bus.
She danced while brushing her teeth.
So, Emily was excited for her first dance class. The other students were not.
Nicole wanted to play soccer. Bitsy wanted to paint. And Anna wanted to read.
“We will be learning a dance called ‘Oh, Little Bug,’ for your recital” the dance teacher said.
But the other girls did not want to learn the dance.
Emily was afraid they would never be friends.
After class, Emily was sad.
“How about a trip to the candy shop to cheer you up?” Emily’s mom asked.
When Emily saw the candy, she had an idea.
The next day at dance class, Emily twirled and jumped.
Nicole, Bitsy, and Anna stumbled.
