The Cultural Centre of Stavros Niarchos Foundation has opened its doors to the public in 2016. It is an astonishing complex in the bay of Phaliron, in Athens, with 210,000 square meters of green. The Center is an architectural gem designed by architect Renzo Piano. The artificial channel designed in the park adds to the peaceful image of the Center. Outdoor yoga & pilates lessons are frequently organized for free.
The Cultural center hosts many music & art festivals and has numerous monthly events from pottery classes to yachting lessons.
The Cultural Center is the new home of the National Opera – a multi use venue that can host opera, ballet, theatre, and concert productions. The new Opera house is a real architectural jewel that will enhance the Greek National Opera to its core.
Whether you want to participate to a particular event or enjoy a music festival, do not undermine the Sunday morning stroll in the most charming park of the city.
