Guidance Corner We Are Here To Help Students at Academy Publishing High School have access to a wide range of resources through the guidance office. The counselors provide students with: - Information about choosing courses - Help avoiding academic pitfalls - Help selecting future goals - Checking for students’ satisfactory progress towards graduation - Academic guidance in the selection of courses for upcoming school year. Whether it’s “just listening” or giving study tips, the counselors will work to get students back on track. The assigned counselor will be the primary contact person for a student’s academic information. ***Parents you should know who your child’s counselor is by the 3rd-4th week of school! They will be one of your biggest allies and support in getting your child to graduation day. ***** Students may make an appointment with their counselor through the guidance secretary before or after school.
