Parents and Teachers Must Set High Expectations It is important that we reassure are students that they can and will succeed in school and in life and that we will do all that we can to help them succeed. Some of the factors that help our youth succeed include our firm direction to keep students ready for work and to be prepared. -
It is very important that students arrive to class with all of the necessary materials that they need to get to work upon their arrival to each class.

Bringing the necessary books, paper, pencil/pen, and all other required materials to class is the first step to classroom success.

Teaching our students to be courteous and pleasant is also an important standard to set. Students who are courteous do not intentionally distract others from doing their best work in the classroom environment.
Evidence exists that schools can improve. Together as parents and educators our emphasis must be on developing an optimal learning environment that understands the impact setting high expectations has on student performance.
