Tour of Duty: Monday through Friday **Tour of duty may change based upon work requirements** DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Serves as the Program Manager and Branch Head for Personal and Professional Development; Marine and Family Programs Division (MF), Manpower and Reserve Affairs Department, Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC). Uses a superior level of expertise in Military Manpower Management, Education, Career and Development Services, Outreach and associated Program and Services Management to provide oversight of and monitor: individual education and career roadmap development for life in and out of the Marine Corps, training and education, and advisement services, educational testing, individual assessment, transition assistance and programming in specialized programs such as: Transition Assistance Management Program, Voluntary Education Program, Library Program, Personal Financial Management (PFMP), Family Member Employment Assistance Program, Relocation Assistance Program, Marine For Life Program, and Information and Referral Program oversight of outreach efforts and methods to collaboratively deliver effective messages to customers and students including development and maintenance of marketing, partnering with organizations that support the P&PD mission. Oversight of operations and resources to support successful P&PD programs. Acts as Program Manager and serves as the Headquarters Marine Corps subject matter expert responsible for conduct of organization wide planning, program oversight and administration of the designated program areas. Develops and revises policy directives, plans and operational materials for Marine Corps wide. Serves as the Branch Head for Personal and Professional Development and a recognized expert to independently oversee day-to-day operations of ongoing
