Resilient, empathetic and connected - this is what characterizes the productive district. The new west entrance is also a promise for the Berlin of the present and future, in which city and nature complement each other. The western entrance is crossed by motorways and railway lines, is heterogeneous and at the same
time an important transport hub. Nature and landscape play a formative role in the form of biotopes along the infrastructure and allotment gardens. In this context, we define three overarching goals in order to define a model for the future-oriented city. link to project

*master plan *green mobility *infrastructure
The masterplan is rooted in preserving the existing structures, infrastructure, and green spaces. The carbon strategy emphasizes retaining buildings and infrastructure in their entirety as long as they continue to serve their purpose, while adapting them for new uses if required. Furthermore, the plan prioritizes conserving as much of the natural environment as possible.
The area is structured as an industrial zone, characterized by long distances and vast, monotonous facades of enormous buildings. Its scale reflects a paradigm where vehicles dominate, in contrast to our current aspiration: creating environments that prioritize the comfort and well-being of people. Despite the continual expansion of industry in the region, pockets of nature remain, offering a unique quality to the area.
The mobility strategy should aim to establish a safe and appealing environment that facilitates easy movement from one location to another.

Entomophagy: the consumption of insects as a source of nutrition by humans
Climate change, limited amount of non-renewable resources, air pollution… the post-carbon era. Our reality is changing rapidly. The last researchs advocate for producing and consuming meat alternatives. Insects produce protein at a much faster pace than other animals that supply meat to humans nowadays, and their production has a much smaller impact on the environment. Could insects be the main source of proteins for human consumption in the future?
A future for Iloilo Central Market is imagined, and insect farm based on a circular economy is proposed. The project aims to transform the market into a generating ecosystem. An alive waste “digester” and food producer market. A self-sufficient supply chain is designed, from producing, harvesting, selling, and recycling, all inside the same premises.

The project is located in La Palma, shortly after the volcanic eruption of Cumbre Vieja in 2021.
The research investigates the current relationship between humans and land, which has developed into a parasitic relationship as a result of negative colonization forms.
Corals are founding and colonizing species. The project utilizes the three scales of reef, coral and polyp, and aims to colonize the border between lava and water, with a design that promotes self-production and both land and water regeneration.
The proposal focuses on creating a community that addresses the basic needs of individuals in the aftermath of a volcanic eruption, with a particular emphasis on wellness and mental healing.

An independent magazine is a publication created and published outside the control of large, mainstream media or corporate entities. These magazines are often driven by a passion for a specific niche or theme, with a focus on creative freedom and unique perspectives.
The proposed magazine works as a travel guide dedicated to skate tourism. Each edition spotlights a different city, and explores themes like the evolution of skateboarding and the power of the local skate scene. It is an exercise in art direction, editorial, and typographic design. Each issue blends visual storytelling with curated layouts and typographies, aiming to capture the essence of skate culture in each city.
The magazine emphasizes the relationship between the city and the skate culture. A local perspective is brought to life through interviews and conversations with current skate figures in the scene. It also features recommended urban routes, highlighting skateparks, popular spots, skate shops, bars and skate-related events.

Skateboarding and cities are inextricably linked, with the city serving as the stage where skateboarding unfolds, transforming the way of living and understanding the city. The first issue of manifest skatezine explores the relationship between skateboarding and architecture, going beyond the familiar realm of the streets and city to pose the question of how to conquer housing and make it skateable.
Under the premise that “everything is skateable”, the zine presents the “utopia for my best friend” housing concept, which experiments with open floorplans, movable walls, and versatile skateable modules. The skater dwelling is also presented as an example of how architecture can be transformed into a manifesto, reflecting an alternative way of living and inhabiting that goes far beyond skateboarding.
Behind every utopia lies a philosophy, and in this case, the philosophy completely transforms housing to meet the needs of a predominantly skater utopian community.
So, let’s skate!

By adopting a transdisciplinary approach, we explored new ways of sharing knowledge and creating architectural interventions. The project focused on raising awareness of endangered landscapes, reconnecting human and non-human relationships, and activating natural and cultural heritage. Key themes included mythology, rural life, sustainability, and community reactivation.
Over the course of a week, university students worked in northern Greece to transform an abandoned school into a community hub. Collaborating with women’s initiatives, locals, and professionals, we conducted repairs and built furniture from recycled materials. This effort culminated in an exhibition, celebrating the rich cultural and ecological identity of the area. Today, the space serves as a gathering point for local residents and nearby communities, fostering new connections and reinforcing networks, with a focus on co-creating spaces that nurture the relationship between the community and its natural surroundings.

The Living Summer School (LSS) is an annual weeklong program in Kortrijk, where young creatives collaborate with local experts to design social impact prototypes addressing local challenges. This year’s theme focused on “repair” as a way to sustain environments, fostering resourcefulness and resilience while addressing socioenvironmental issues.
The Heerlijkheid Van Heule is a historic farmstead surrounded by water, functioning as an ecological oasis. Beyond farming, the organization focuses on social inclusion by connecting with vulnerable groups, especially youth, through ecological practices.
During a week, participants worked on a wooden cabin built during the previous year’s LSS, disassembled and repurposed, and on another one built from scratch. Additionally, a conference was held on-site, centered around the themes of repair, community engagement and the relationship between people and their environment.
