Auto disposal of Treated Waste

Load up to 25kg of sharps, dialyzers, syringes, papers, cloth, plastic, glass etc into ISS's 150 litre chamber and begin the shredding & sterilisation process. The automatic locking door prohibits unauthorized interruption.

The stainless steel vessel is fitted with a motor-driven shaft, with powerful shredding/crushing blades that rotate in two directions to reduce the size and volume of the waste down to 20% of its original size.

After treatment, the waste is sterile. The liquid components are steamed out of the vessel, re-condensed and drained to a municipal sewer. As the waste is dehydrated, there is no risk of contaminated waste water.

Shredding is important as it enhances the steam penetration therefore improves the overall steriliSation process.

The waste is rendered, fragmented, non toxic, largely solid and dry and therefore safe to be disposed as regular municipal waste.

Sweep System Technology

Using ultrasonic energy and a process known as cavitation, ultrasonic cleaning is the most effective way of deep cleaning difficult to reach and complex shaped items. The new range of SONICA S3 are equipped with state-of-the-art high power piezoelectric transducers and ultrasonic generators which incorporate the innovative SweepSystem oscillation technology for a truly amzing result.

The new SONICA S3 series with Sweep System technology offers the best performance available from ultrasonic cleaning equipment. The state-of-the art generator incorporates a special ultrasonic oscillator using Sweep System Technology. The frequency from the ultrasonic generator operates around a central frequency of 39 Khz and the transducers shift between 38 and 40 Khz.
