Children’s Day How Things Were Made: Colonial Apprentice Saturday, May 14, 2011 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. National Colonial Farm $5 General Admission (Members Free)

Be a colonial apprentice for a day! Children will learn how things were made in colonial times by getting hands-on experience in several skills. Scheduled workshops (additional fee) include woodworking, blacksmithing, spinning, knitting, and cross-stitching. Additional activities include butter making, wool washing and carding, colonial cooking, and hillmaking. Collect keepsakes along the way!
