Dagmar is a Swedish Fashion brand with a style deriving from Art Deco. The client brief was pretty straight forward when it comes to the client brief; invent a hybrid spatial language between Swedish design and art deco. We designed a basic module with a triangular plan and let that shape our spatial concept. The rails were using the shape as a framework, keeping the dimension of the goods down to 10 mm thickness. Besides being a very constructive shape, it adds character. The tables are modules having the same triangular shape as a base. Triangular shapes offers great flexibility, having them put together offers a large surface to display clothes or to use the sharp end as a spatial divider to work with the flow of people. Modules are great as you can start populating a space with a specific character, for V Ave Shoe Repair (www.shoerepair.se) we created a square cage-like module that was not that strong as only one piece, but bringing them together really made something special happen. For Dagmar we developed a new character, a triangle, as mentioned above. We tried to use every potential of the triangular shape. Spatially it is useful to use the sharp side to direct people, putting a few triangles together enables a larger surface for displaying items.

Swiss architecture firm ROK - Rippmann Oesterle Knauss GmbH has completed the MRQT boutique in Stuttgart, Germany. The store features a unique fur-like wall consisting of 22.000 wooden sticks with individual directions and of various lengths. The installation refers to the flowing forms and delicate texture of textiles and cloth. It creates a unique and sensational background for the fashion items displayed on the smoothly integrated clothes hangers. The flow of wooden sticks and subtle lighting frames a central full height mirror and forms a central "stage" for the customer. Display stands and shelving in beech wood match the material of the wall installation. Together with the minimalistic interior space featuring white walls and a grinded concrete floor, the store develops a warm and inviting atmosphere for the customers browsing through a well-curated selection of premium street-wear brands. The wall was designed using customized digital tools to master the large number of wooden sticks. CNC-drilled holes define the individual direction of every stick installed. Only a perfectly streamlined production process guaranteed the efficient and feasible realization of the project.

ROK is a Swiss architecture and consultancy firm with a focus on unique designs, interior and point of sale spaces. ROK offers design and planning services, as well as complete interior build out solutions through a strong network of partners for fabrication and construction. Architecture for ROK is the creative translation process of complex requirements of the client into individual and suitable designs. The Firm combines its unique expertise in the field of automated fabrication and computer based planning with a deep understanding of traditional craftsmen technology in order to deliver outstanding and efficient architecture. Efficiency means to conceive designs that are sustainable and appropriate for the material involved, as well as executing a project economically and in due time.

Stroili Oro historically develops his business in shopping centers. The brand image and positioning is accessible luxury. The project starts from a new strategy that involves free standing points of sale in the company market development. The store concept design had the task to add a feminine touch in the shopping experience and preserve the topics close to the male customers. Vudafieri Saverino Partners is a design firm run by architects Claudio Saverino and Tiziano Vudafieri. True to the Milanese tradition of the "creative studio", the work field spreads from architecture, to retail design, to interior design and decoration. Since 2000, a significant part of the firm’s activity has been devoted to worldwide retail design projects for the most important luxury prêt-à-porter brands (Kenzo, Pucci, Givenchy, Jimmy Choo, Roger Vivier, Tod’s, Moschino, Louis Vuitton and others ). Major architectural projects by Vudafieri Saverino Partners include residential, private and public, commercial and industrial buildings, while interior design projects are mostly focused on residences, art galleries and offices. In recent years the firm has worked throughout Europe, in the Unites States, China, Japan, Asia, the Middle East, Russia, and Eastern Europe.

This project has been begun for using a blank space at MVL hotel which is recently established hotel next to the Ilsan Kintex, Gyeongki-do in Korea, and the space designed for bakery and wine shop. In accordance with remands of client, designer tried to overcome the limit of the location which is located at back of the main entrance. In addition, he created sculptural structure to develop the lobby design and then the sculptures are connected from the shop to the entrance area, and it could make the shop to be perceived well from the entrance. Furthermore, designer attempted to create a huge sculptural space by using the sculptural cupboard which looks a bottom of column and arch object.
