Meredith Chilton, C. M., is curator emerita of the Gardiner Museum, Toronto, Canada. A specialist in European ceramics of the 1700s as well as food history and dining culture, she is the curator of the exhibition Savour: Food Culture in the Age of Enlightenment and author of this accompanying cookbook. Chilton was appointed to the Order of Canada in 2017; she lives in Lac-Brome, Québec.
