he AM40-A6 is manufactured to the 2013 USMC modular rifle stock solicitation, its patent pending design allows for “Caliber Upgrade” to 338LM and others by simply inserting the desired caliber center section and assembling the existing butt-stock and for-end. Several advanced features are incorporated into the chassis including the “PULL & LOCK” folding butt stock operated with one hand, bi-directional modular rail for-end system, adjustable cheek and butt pad, shim kit LOP (13.0”-15.5”), optional Butt-Spike and choice of colors. All chassis are hard anodized then CerraKote finish in the chosen color, all steel compoSPECIFICATIONS nents are Phosphated and sealed. he Special Service Rifle was a joint venture between Savage Arms, Norma Ammunition and Accurate-Mag Products to develop the first commercial rifle offering of the 300 Norma & 338 Norma calibers. Savage Arms manufactures the complete barrel action in the trusted model 110 action, the barrel has a 1:9 twist rate, 5/8x24 threaded muzzle with protector in a 27” barrel length. The SSR comes standard with the Accurate-Mag base level chassis. This chassis can be further modified with any of our Solid Chassis butt-stock or fore-end systems sold separately.
The Special Service Rifle embodies all of the needed attributes for Sporting and Tactical long distance shooting with the NORMA Cartridge and rigid AM Products chassis at a feature to price point unparalleled in the precision rifle market. T6 aircraft grade aluminum and a folding butt-stock with aluminum frame covered with a plastic skin for a soft and warm feel. Folding stock models are available with and without a butt-spike. Fore-End options include a short, open top rail section with a full length bottom rail and movable rail segments on the sides. Also available is the Accurate-Mag tactical fore-end with full length top rail on top and either integrated picatinny rails machined into the front portion of the fore-end on the sides and bottom or with a Modular Rail System running the entire length of the sides and bottom.

he SporT-Tact line also offers a Multi-Caliber Rifle System that allows mix and match of several calibers into any desired system required. We refer to these as “Insert Rifles”; unlike other multi-Caliber systems the SporTTact multi-caliber can be changed in less than one minute with NO head space check or barrel separation from the receiver; all mechanicals and ergonomic stock considerations are kept separate from each other.

The insert rifle employs a dedicated action block to its receiver and barrel and has common trunion mounting to the center section opening. The patented trunion pin & plate system assures exact zero-retention of any insert rifle. he AM Products Walnut Hunter is the definition of a modular SPORTING-TACTICAL rifle stock. It combines all of the precision features of our machined center section with hard bedding and DBM feeding system in a classic look of a traditional rifle with walnut Butt-stock and for-end. The New “Three Rib” 308 10RD DSSF is a commercial variant of our standard 308 DSSF box. The extra ribs in the magazine create a slimmer stack configuration for a stiffer magazine body and increased cartridge overall length (COL) to facilitate re-loaders in slightly longer then SAMI length cartridges.
