Through encouragement and support, GOGA is designed to help physically inactive members of the local community to take those first steps towards a more active, healthy lifestyle. Programmes are inclusive and adaptable and include Tai Chi, Nordic Walking, and GOGA Fit.

Regular Physical Activity is one of the most important things you can do for your health. Being physically active can improve your brain health, help manage weight, reduce the risk of disease, strengthen bones and muscles, and improve your ability to do everyday activities.

SOME IS GOOD...MORE IS BETTER COUCH 2 5K
An eight-week running programme designed to help absolute beginners get into running. The programme involves two coached sessions per week, delivered by a qualified instructor. A virtual programme is also available. Participants will have the opportunity to graduate at a local parkrun.
BAT & CHAT
Learn how to play table tennis and improve your skills in a friendly and relaxed environment. A qualified coach will help you learn the basics and provide opportunities for informal games and social interaction.
RECREATIONAL BOCCIA
There are both recreational and competitive opportunities for disabled adults to play Boccia at South Lake Leisure Centre. Boccia is a paralympic sport where athletes throw, kick or use a ramp to propel a ball onto the court with the aim of getting closer to the ‘jack’ ball than their opponent.
LET’S DANCE KIDS
An eight-week programme for kids aged 4-11 years. Classes include hip hop, dance fitness, music- based games with a focus on flexibility, mobility and stretching.
