Meet him at the annual Christmas Lights Switch On and Twilight Market event. Come along to enjoy the festive atmosphere, street entertainment and visit our magical Twilight Market showcasing local artists, handmade crafts and Christmas delights. Get into the festive spirit and watch the trees sparkle while you explore and indulge your senses.
GEORGIAN DAY LIGHT SHOW 'A CHRISTMAS CRACKER' SATURDAY 30 NOVEMBER 5.30PM | 6.30PM | 7.30PM | 8.15PM MARKET SQUARE | ARMAGH FREE EVENT Join the crowds for an unmissable experience as the city lights up on Georgian Day. The dramatic ‘A Christmas Cracker’ light show will transform the Market House, a beautiful Georgian building, into a shimmering canvas for images, special effects and other surprises. Ticket wristbands are available to book online from 10.00am on Tuesday 5 November and are limited to 4 tickets per person. Ticket wristbands can also be collected in person, free of charge from Armagh Visitor Information Centre, 40 English Street, Armagh BT61 7BA or posted out (additional postage charge applies). Please be aware that access into the Market Square site for prams and pushchairs will be difficult but an unmanned pram park will be available close to the entrance. A limited number of accessible viewing spaces will be available and must be booked in advance through Armagh Visitor Information Centre T: 028 3752 1800 W: visitarmagh.com/georgian Please note that admission to the Light Show is by wristband only. Be whisked away through the mists of time to charming Vienna, capital of Habsburg Empire under Emperor Joseph II in the historical setting of the former Archbishop’s Palace.
Encounter the golden age of a city alive with 18th Century baroque culture – enchanting music, architectural masterpieces, spectacular palaces and coffee house culture.
