PROJECT DESCRIPTION The program was to provide space for residential units, along with an amenities we thought would be necessary. Our exterior is designed in the shape of a double helix. We wanted to twis the shape of our building so that it stands out compared to other standard buildings. By connecting sections of floors together, we were able to add amenities and retail to bring people together and create a community aspect. These bridges not only act as host to amenities for the two buildings but also are corresponding nodes to build their own neighborhood. An advantage of the twist are the roof terraces created by the overlapping floors. These will have pools and greenery that thrives in Singapore’s climate.
