Reflections Year in Review
2018
2018 in Review We are very fortunate at Acentech to work on such a wide variety of projects. We love that our contribution can make a real difference in the success of the project, no matter how large or small it might be. While you might not always see it, the impact of our work is there. Well-designed classrooms with good acoustics can enhance the education of our children to better provide them with the tools to succeed. Well-designed laboratories can provide researchers with the low levels of noise and vibration necessary to do their work. And well-designed helmets can have a positive effect on aircrew fatigue. As another year comes to a close I am incredibly proud of Acentech’s commitment to help clients and end users deal with some of the more understated, but no less important, challenges that are faced in modern life. Many of our projects impact the entire human life cycle—from neonatal intensive care units, to educational and performing arts facilities, worship spaces, research facilities, Fortune 500 headquarters, to assisted living facilities—and everything in between and sometimes sideways. Documenting all of our highlights in one concise “yearbook” is impossible, but please take a look at this sample of projects we have been honored to work on in 2018, and some terrific staff honors and achievements. We look forward to 2019.
Jeffrey A. Zapfe, PhD President
