HOT TUB INFO:
For help with hot tubs call Tubs are drained and cleaned between each guest. Maintenance: 304.640.4357 Please do not adjust the temperature settings. Please shower before using. Please do not add any additives. (Spilling beer may cause yeast infections in men and women.) There is a $50 cleaning fee for requested cleaning Persons with heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, or pregnancy should consult a physician
before using the spa. Keep all electrical devices away to avoid the risk of electrocution. Alcohol and drugs are unsafe when using a spa. Hot water amplifies the effect of these substances and the result can be dangerous. Consult your physician regarding the use of prescription drugs with tubbing. Soaking for too long can raise body heat to hazardous levels. The National Spa and Pool Institute considers 104ºF to be the maximum safe water temperature for adults. Children are more sensitive to heat and should not be exposed to water more than 95ºF for more than 10 minutes. Never leave children unattended in the spa! Covers must be kept on the tub when not in use to keep the temperature comfortable. If your hot tub has an ECON (economy) setting, please DO NOT press the button. This will cause your tub to lose heat.

WILDLIFE AT ACE
During your stay at the resort you may be lucky enough to encounter many different insects and animals, after all our resort inhabits their natural environment. However, if at any point in time if you experience a nuisance within or around your cabin or chalet, please contact a staff member to assist you. NEVER attempt to pet or pick up a wild animal, they will defend them selves if they feel threatened .
There is a quarantine in Fayette County, WV. Guests are NOT permitted to bring in or take our firewood. This is to protect our trees from the Emerald Ash Borer insect which has destroyed millions of trees in surrounding states. If you are in need of firewood it is for sale at the Welcome Center

GET EDUCATED, NOT ITCHY!
Leaves of three let them be! The most common skin irritant in our woodlands is poison ivy. It produces a chemical in the oil of the plant’s leaves that may cause an allergic reaction. Common symptoms are burning, itching, redness, and blistering of the skin. Being able to identify the plant is the best way to avoid contact. There are many harmless plants with only three leaves, especially in the spring. However, it’s best to avoid all three-leafed plants if you are unsure.
