a wedding takes months of careful preparations – from seating arrangements and invitations to music and cake. But a bride needs to pamper herself during this time, too.After all, every bride wants to look and feel their best when they walk down the aisle. Visiting a salon prior to the wedding

Others want a more modern, edgy look that uses gem colors on the eyes and lips.This look is usually complete with a simple knot or bun in the hair.

weeks so they will look fresh and perfect throughout the honeymoon,� she says. “The lash extensions make eyes look so much brighter, and they can replace using mascara.� Coming in for regular manicures, pedicures, facials and massages also can help a bride-to-be relax during the sometimes stressful time of making wedding plans. “Getting a massage is always great,� says Verrecchia.“It is very relaxing.� Allowing plenty of time for your services on the wedding day is very important, says Verrecchia, but she has other advice as well. “When a bride-to-be comes in for an appointment, we ask her to bring in a picture of her dress and multiple hair and make-up styles she likes,� she says.“We look that is unique and perfect for her.�

With so many different options for photographer to guide a couple and perfectly capture their tale is crucial. “Every year we have to reinvent ourselves to keep up with the new trends,� says P. Michael Moffa, owner of Moffa Photography in Philadelphia. “Every photographer looks for new products to offer the bride and groom. Because wedding photography is not cookie cutter like it was years ago, something as simple as a video slide show album which you can carry with you is a popular item.� Besides slideshow albums, there are many other album options for the wedding couple. Moffa says his company offers canvas portrait covers, metal, acrylic and the traditional leather books. They also are more compact now, making them easier for travel. Bride and grooms also can choose different style for the photographs, too. Darwin Williams, owner of Darwin pho-

tography in Willingboro, says looks from the past are still popular. “Brides love the black and white photos and the colorized photos,� says Williams.“I try to incorporate one or two of these styles in the books, and then the bride can always ask for more.� Colorization is when the images are black and white with the exception of one item which is in color, such as the “I will spend 3 or 4 hours with a couple when designing their album if needed,� he says. Ash Habashi, owner of Core Productions in Cherry Hill, loves the energy that comes with photographing a wedding. “There are so many emotions throughout the day and everyone is happy,� says Habashi.“I love trying to capture all of it.� In order to keep their wedding day running smoothly, Habashi says it is important for couples to consult with the photographer and remember the clock. “A lot of time people forget timing is crucial,� he says.“We don’t give a lot of time for portraits and wedding
