In my 11 years of teaching, Y11RQU is by far one of the most interesting classes I’ve ever handled Our unique pack is comprised of 11 athletic and artistic individuals who display a vast array of personalities and disparate goals, yet solidly click at two common traits: perceptiveness and compassion

Whenever faced by team challenges such as level or schoolwide activities, or simply the evermind-boggling ‘what-to-do-onour-20-minute-advisory-meeting’ mystery, our class leaders Eli and Sarah would instinctively unleash their creative minds onto our magic A122 whiteboard Behind them are our 'oh-so-reserved' yet supportive class members Kana, Imaan, Serafin, Reisa and Dan, who would always lend a hand whenever possible.

Who would ever miss the comic stunts of Jeremy and Josh, sprinkling humor onto any serious atmosphere? Finally, Cilla and Ram’s sensitivity to others’ moods and needs would always offer a warm, yet refreshing companionship to those who need it

As I send off my first RQU troop to the uncharted waters of IB DP, I am confident that their selfawareness, humility and openmindedness, with the right amount of fun, will someday bring this lucky eleven to their ultimate destination: self-fulfillment and a clear sense of purpose
