Tailor Made Health and Social Experiences FOR ADULTS UNDER 65 LIVING WITH A NEUROLOGICAL CONDITION


Tailor Made is a model of living well specifically designed for adults under 65 years living with neurological conditions. Tailor Made Health and Social Experiences are designed to build capacity, learn new skills and focus on getting out into the community with like-minded people. All groups are delivered in a safe and friendly environment facilitated by experts, specialised support staff and volunteers. Participants may be able to access these services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

CREATIVE EXPERIENCES JAMFACTORY CERAMICS WORKSHOP Design and create your very own collection of hand-made ceramics and produce up to 10 finished items per term. All skill levels welcome. 8-week program. JAMFACTORY CREATIVE WOODWORK WORKSHOP Learn to work with wood, start small and build up to producing your own project. All skill levels welcome. 8-week program. JAMFACTORY JEWELLERY AND METAL WORKSHOP Learn to work with mixed mediums including metal. Design unique and individual pieces to take home. All skill levels welcome. 8-week program. DANCE CLASS Have fun, meet new friends and enjoy gentle exercise. Learn different traditional styles from around the world including Rock and Roll, Salsa and more.

DIGITAL TECH CLASS Learn how to use your iPad/ tablet/smartphone or computer in a social environment. Explore cyber safety, social media, online banking, emails, searching the internet, setting up your MyGov account, online shopping and other useful apps. FOODIES WORKSHOP Learn various new skills and methods for fermenting, brewing, storing and making food. Best of all, enjoy the products of your hard work! All skill levels welcome. 8-week program. PHOTOGRAPHY GROUP Visit places of interest for photo opportunities. Collate and edit photos online and into annual calendars or picture books of your choice. SPORTS SPECTATORS Head out to watch your favourite football, cricket, soccer or baseball together. Arranged to suit you.


GROUP EXPERIENCES SWIMMING GROUP Be guided through a small and welcoming group session or supported to swim laps. GOLF GROUP Fitness & fun. Learn to play golf with a professional instructor, improve your skills or continue playing with like-minded friends. CROQUET Learn or continue to play social croquet. Great all round exercise combining skill and tactics. All levels welcome.

BRUNCH FOR BIRTHDAYS Enjoy brunch with familiar friends from your group to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions. FRIDAY NIGHT OUT Enjoy a night out with familiar friends from your group. Program is tailored to groups and can include dinner followed by a movie, theatre show, night bowling, karaoke and more. WALKING GROUP Enjoy a local walk with familiar friends followed by coffee and a chat. Accessible paths used and pet dogs welcome.

HEALTH AND WELLBEING HUR EXERCISE EQUIPMENT Experience our state-of-the art HUR exercise equipment. The high-tech, easy to use, low impact machines are designed for ageing bodies and programmed especially for you.* STRONG AND STEADY Using your natural body weight, resistance bands and free weights, this session works all the major muscles in your body, benefitting both mind and body.* TAI CHI This group can assist joint flexibility, increase muscle, improve balance, assist with relaxation and reduce the risk of falls. A wonderful form of exercise that can assist with mobility and balance improvement.*

BOX FIT EXERCISE CLASS No gloves required! Using movement inspired by boxing, this class will give you a good workout and improve your coordination and core strength.* BALANCE EXERCISE CLASS A great place to start focusing on balance and strength and help prevent injuries.* BACK AND CORE EXERCISE CLASS Focusing on back and core strength, this session is designed to strengthen and stretch key muscle groups that contribute to imbalance and dysfunction.* YOGA GROUP Focusing on balance and strength, learn to exercise the body and mind in this small group setting.*


DIABETES GROUP This is a weekly exercise and information session presented by our exercise physiologist. Learn about managing diabetes including foot care, medication, exercise diet and foot wear.* MOVE IT TO MUSIC By popular demand, this new class is a fun and easy way to exercise. Incorporating aerobic body movements with music, improve your cardio, balance, co-ordination and your memory.* HEALTH & WELLBEING SESSION TIMES ARE UPDATED REGULARLY.
