Should I have a chat feature on my website?
Do I need an answering service?
This is going to vary on a few things. If your thought is people going to your website that may have questions and want to be able to chat with you then yes that is a good thought.
This really depends on why you would need one. Do you think you are missing calls? Do you find yourself too busy during the days or not available to answer the phone?
But, you also have to be realistic and think are you going to actually be available to answer any chat requests? I really dislike when I go to a website and it says “Offline” or “Not Available”.
There are some good companies out there to select from if you go that route. It’s important to make sure you are aware of all charges i.e. $0.50 per text message to alert you to a call and things like that.
Of course most of those chat scripts you can put on your website even if you are not available then customers or possible customers can at least send you a message, but they can also do that from a contact form on your website. Dan ACRBO

Get More Sales Leads From Your Website Using a form on your website to possible customer information can be a great way to generate leads. In fact, you may already have one on your website. But are you using it as effectively as possible? Here are three tips that will help your web form bring in more sales leads.
3. Offer something for free.
1. Keep it simple.
How can you add a form like this to your website? If you are using a content management system, most will let you set up a simple contact form, or they at least have a plugin that will let you do so. If not, the top email newsletter providers like aWeber and Constant Contact can supply you with the HTML code to drop into your site. And most of them cost $20 a month or less, often with a free trial. (Constant Contact discount thru ACRBO)
Expedia's website once had an optional field on their checkout page that said "Company." Many customers were confused by this, and thought that Expedia was asking for their bank's information. They then went on to fill out the next part of the form with their bank's address instead of their own, causing their credit card verification to fail. Once Expedia realized this, they removed the field. The result? An additional profit of $12 million per year. So ask yourself if you really need to know the size of their business right now, or the square footage of their backyard, or the age of their children. You're better off just asking for basic contact information, so they'll be more likely to fill out the form. You can always get the rest of the information when you actually follow up with them. Keep it simple! 2. Sign them up for a newsletter. Naturally, you shouldn't do this without making it clear on the form. But when you sign someone up for a newsletter, you no longer have to win them over as a customer in one fell swoop. Instead, you get the opportunity to make an impression over a period of time. I've met with potential clients in the past who decided they could not afford my business's services. But because I still stayed connected to them, they ended up referring clients who could afford our services.
People love freebies! You might try a free consultation or a free e-book. As long as it's something that benefits your potential customers or clients, you've given them another reason to fill out the form.
So spend a couple hours beefing up your website and add a lead generating form, or tweak the one currently on your website. You will see more leads from your website.
People love freebies! As long as it's something that benefits your potential customers or clients, you've given them another reason to fill out the form.

How to Develop an Effective Digital Marketing Solution In this rapidly changing world, the digital arena is growing vastly. Millions of people are using the internet on a daily basis. That could be for work or leisure. Almost 32.7% of the total population uses the internet. Most of these people are present online for the entire day. Thus Digital marketing proves to be more effective as compared to traditional. Billboards, television ads, newspaper ads all come under the domain of traditional marketing. These could not only cost you a bomb but does not even give you a decent ROI. Also this form of marketing is not very quantifiable. On the other hand, every aspect in digital marketing is properly measurable. There is a digital marketing solution to every marketing problem your business could have. So, what are the various factors you must keep in mind when you have to develop an effective digital marketing solution? Market research: Market research involves knowing exactly who your customers are. In this there is a quantitative and qualitative analysis. This research tells you what is the demand for your product? How your competitors are faring? Which platform is more suitable for you? By this, I mean if you are a B2B, LinkedIn is a more suitable platform as compared to Facebook and twitter. Again, this is no hard and fast rule as marketing in itself is a very dynamic field. Crowd sourcing: Market or advertise your brand. Publicize it. Let people know that you exist. However big or small your business might be, marketing gives a notion that it must be a big brand.
Create Awareness: Realization is the first step of the purchase cycle. Here people are made aware of their need for a particular product. For instance, consider someone who has just begun working. He sees an ad for a mobile phone with an email feature and realizes that he would need one. If this ad belongs to your brand, you have taken the first step and the user would like to search more on your brand. Lead generation: After all of the above, target your niche audience and interact with them. This can be done via forums, discussions etc. Scout for potential customers. Probably someone is looking for a product in your industry or someone looking for your services and asks a question online.
Market or advertise your brand. Publicize it. Let people know that you exist. Engagement: Now, as the person is already aware of your brand, get him to engage with you on a more personal level. People respond better or prefer the brand when they feel a personal connect with it. Customer loyalty: This develops the customer's loyalty towards the brand. This is the best part of an effective marketing technique. This will not only get you one sale but will help you keep your sales consistent. It gives you one more loyal customer if done in the right manner. Customer Service: After all this, do not just take it for granted that you have a dedicated customer and great sales. Keep up your brand name by delivering excellent customer service to your clients. Your existing customers would recommend you to their own friends and family. This will not only help in getting new customers but plays a major role in customer retention.

HOW TO BE INTERESTING ONLINE If you have any authority on a subject, making a prediction about the future of that subject can really get people's attention.
• Being consistently interesting can be a challenge. Ensuring that the content you create is of interest to your prospective audience will make sure that they come back again and again. And bring their friends. It goes without saying that if no one finds what you're doing interesting they won't stick around. So what can you do? How can you "be interesting?"
•
•
Be Unique: What can you do that others can't? If everyone in your area is pushing or advertising “virus removal” then do you really thing that is very unique for you to post about it daily? Probably not…Do you offer a “free consultation?” If so that might be unique compared to others in your area. Be your own guinea pig - 99% of people online are trying to tell you something important but not many are DOING something of importance. Take your own advice. Practice what you preach. If you can show evidence of you getting fantastic results with your own methods you'll reap the benefits of truly standing out from most everyone else. And people will want to talk about it.
Dare to be wrong! - So many people are trying to do the right things in the right way nowadays that it often becomes a bit, well... boring. If you're brave enough to do or say the wrong thing (within reason!) you'll find a lot of people willing to take notice.
• Make a prediction - If you have any authority on a subject, making a prediction about the future of that subject can really get people's attention. Especially if you turn out to be right... You could always do a follow up to this looking at how right (or wrong) you were!
• Introduce yourself – Put a bit of yourself if any content you produce. The idea behind this point is that you take this a step further and add a page/post/section about yourself. Just doing this small thing can create a great personal connection that your audience will be sure to appreciate.
• Put your audience first - While it's true that you are the one with the talent and expertise who has slaved away for countless hours creating, editing, re editing and distributing your content you are precisely nothing without your audience. If you fail to put them first, you'll fail to be interesting.

How to Simplify Your Online Marketing - A 3 Step Guide 2. Remember, 'content is king'
Don't dive into a full blown sales pitch about how great your company is or make your copy too pushy. 1. Make the consumer the centre of your attention In order to improve your brand it's a good idea to move away from metrics and strategies that have no real impact on developing your online brand. Too many brands make attempts to justify the money they spend on online marketing by trying to apply some kind of statistical data. Things like click through rate (CTR), view through or Facebook likes, whilst they look good, they are not wholly relevant to building an online brand or reputation. Before the days of online marketing, brands didn't worry about measuring the impact of full page advertising spreads via the printed media by attributing the success to statistics. It's all too common nowadays for a business to focus on advertising that delivers results in terms of numbers whilst losing sight of generating advertising that stimulates the interests of consumers. In order for consumers to be attracted to a brand by a unique online marketing campaign, they need choice, control and relevance applied to their experience. Give the audience what it wants by making online campaigns mysterious and intriguing make the experience relevant to the website page encouraging visitors to click, view and interact. Allow interaction with your website to be instigated by your audience, give them the control in terms of how much they want to engage with your site. As some marketing experts put it 'instead of real-time bidding (RTB), how about applying real-time relevance'?
Whilst flashy images, fancy videos and eye-catching colours may 'WOW' the consumer, ultimately it's the words on your website that sell. Indeed, writing styles have had to adapt in order to meet the demands of an online audience, however, content still has a major impact on the 'decision-making process.' However, it's important to remember that content needs to remain focused on where consumer attention is focused. Don't dive into a full blown sales pitch about how great your company is or make your copy too pushy. Instead create copy that is suitable for current media platforms such as mobile phones, tablets and other forms of mobile media because current consumer attention is focused on information that they consume whilst on the move. Bring your content to life through advertising technology that gets your words and images alongside an established brand, as this will enhance the content experience and will make a lasting impression upon consumers. 3. Above all, simplify the strategy Rather than developing an online marketing strategy for the mobile phone, a separate strategy for tablets and another for the standard desktop, focus on one specific platform, then revise that strategy to correspond with other strategies. This will create brand consistency and help to eliminate overreaching by trying to do everything at once. Brands are now able to respond directly to how consumers interact with a whole host of devices. In an age where consumers swipe, expand and share adverts or interesting brand content, it's no longer viable to revert back to traditional approaches to online marketing. Brands need to flaunt their assets through fresh, fun and invigorating new concepts that capture the imagination and leave lasting impressions that are unique to devices, contexts and formats.

5 WAYS TO USE YOUR WEBSITE TO GET CLIENTS AND INCREASE YOUR INCOME Your business website can't be successful without a plan. Before you launch, you need to have a clear and focused vision of what you want visitors to do. This way, you can create a plan for you and any service providers you hire to follow. How do you develop a plan? You start with setting goals. Business website goals are statements about what you want visitors to do, the experience you want them to have and the accomplishments you want to achieve. Just like you can't increase your income without a goal, you can't build a successful website without a goal in mind. There's no one-size-fits-all approach to creating a business website. Your goals are going to differ based on the nature of your business, the type of marketing you're doing and your overall business goals. It all comes down to asking one basic question what do you want your website to do for you?
Creating more connections on social media can lead to more sales.
Here are a five different common website goals that you can use in developing your own plan: • You want to establish your expertise - Everyone "Googles" a company or service provider before they buy. What are your potential customers finding when they are searching for your name or company? If your goal is to make a great impression with potential clients or contacts that you've already made, you'll want to make sure that your site has a clear brand identity and displays that you are an expert at what you do - focus on the specific problems you solve and how. • You want to educate your audience - If your business involves something highly technical or not easily understood, you'll want to make sure there's an educational component to your website. Consider adding helpful articles, resource guides, checklists and other assets to educate your potential clients and build your credibility. • You want to gather leads - If your main goal is to gather leads to nurture and sell to later on, you'll want to design your website so it is easy to connect with each person who stops by. You can give away a free report or resource guide in exchange for your prospects' email address and name. Then you'll want to set up an automated follow-up system to stay in touch and build the relationship. • You want to sell products or services directly - Selling directly from your site, rather than having a consultation with a client, means that you'll need an e-commerce platform with a shopping cart to make ordering easy. You'll want clear descriptions of your products or service packages. Put all of the focus benefits and results your offerings create and you'll boost your sales potential. • You want to build your social media followers - Creating more connections on social media can lead to more sales. If this is your goal for your business - to gather lots of pre-qualified followers and build a relationship with them over time - you can use your website to encourage visitors to clickthrough to Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn. Most business websites have one specific goal, but yours may have a combination of the above. Review your options, decide which goals are best for your website and make any changes you need to in order to transform your website and increase your profits.

WHAT THE BUDDING ENTREPRENEUR SHOULD DO TO ENSURE SUCCESS A question often asked by the budding entrepreneur is, "How can I reach millions of targeted customers?" Of course, advertising wisely is the answer. But how can this be achieved with little or no capital? The usual 'Newbie' to marketing is not usually someone who has millions to spend on advertising! Now one of the biggest problems for the 'Newbie' to internet advertising is the vexed question of designing an advert. If you get this wrong all the efforts you put into building, marketing and otherwise trying to spread the word about your business will be wasted. However, if you get it right, then you could be well on your way to internet success. The margins are that fine! To help you get your advertising right there are two important questions to keep in mind: 'What is my target market?' and 'How do I reach them?' Your target market is composed of all those people who want to buy what you have on offer. But how do you find them and when you have found them how do you let them know that you have what they want? Many new enterprises have floundered in their infancy because these questions have been either overlooked completely or only given scant thought. However, if you can answer these questions successfully, then your internet marketing career will definitely lift off.
The process of improving your results is something that you should always be working on.
Once you are up and running successfully, you might think it's time to relax a little bit and enjoy the fruits of your labours so far. Wrong! Now is the time to push on and 'tweak' your advertising campaigns to squeeze the maximum result out of each and every one of them. You keep testing and refining until every last drop of profit is funneled into your bank account! The process of improving your results is something that you should always be working on. Relax too much and your business will start to go down the proverbial drain. Perseverance is the name of the game for you now. There will be plenty of time to relax once your business is truly up and running on autopilot. But you have to work hard to put all that in place so that you will have many years of success. However, the very beginning of your internet career is so vitally important. So many people start out by making exactly the same mistakes when advertising on the internet (or anywhere else for that matter). You must learn how to avoid these mistakes so that your business will start to prosper from the very beginning.

Network Marketing: How To Use It To Make Money When using techniques to generate leads, focus on one technique at a time. Social media, blogs, video marketing, and article marketing are all great ways to build contacts, but if you try to do everything at once you'll end up overwhelmed. Focus on a single aspect, make it successful, then move on to another. Make it a family thing. Your closest network remains your family. Talk to them about what you do, and what you are trying to accomplish. Ask them to help you broadcast your update by re-posting them on social networking websites. Do not force your family to help you, but make them understand this is an important source of income for you. In today's society, it is important to multi-task when you can. Everyone is increasingly more busy, and it can be hard to attend to the things you need to. When it comes to network marketing, find ways to multi-task. Perhaps you can listen to books on tape about network marketing while you are driving.
Do not just try to sell your services; spend time to learn everything you can about them. Develop a plan for yourself. This gives you focus and helps you avoid making mistakes that generally come from "going with the flow." By setting deadlines you are more likely to make your goals and make the business work for you. Stay focused and success will come. Now that you have brushed up on the best and brightest of the marketing tips, look for new and exciting ways to apply that knowledge to your own plan. Building your network will include using: Facebook
A thorough knowledge of your field is needed for marketing success. Be ready to answer every possible question. Remember that having to admit your ignorance can hurt - even cripple - a potential sale. When it comes to overcoming obstacles with network marketing, you need to stick with it and not be discouraged. You will find the biggest discouraging thing is the time you might have to put into it and not see instant results, but if you continue to work on it you will see results.

Social Media and Its Role in Internet Marketing Strategies in the Future Social Media marketing is the latest and the most innovative internet marketing tool available for online businesses.
