A MESSAGE FROM THE CO-CHAIRS Dear Guests, Welcome to the Pro Football Hall of Fame Taste of the NFL! The Steering Committee has been working with the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank for almost a year now to plan this evening’s event, and we are honored that you’ve joined us here tonight. It has been great to see members of our community working together for such a great cause. As the need to feed the hungry rises, so does the Foodbank’s need for your support. The difficult economic times we are going through have had a dramatic effect on numerous families in the eight counties served by the Foodbank. Your support tonight guarantees availability of food for those in need in our community. We would like to thank all of the restaurants, wineries and other food and beverage providers who have donated their services this evening. We would like to encourage you to support these establishments year-round just as they have supported this event. We would also like to extend our thanks for the generous in-kind and financial support of our numerous sponsors. Furthermore, Taste of the NFL would not run smoothly without our team of hospitable volunteers. We owe one last special thanks to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame staff have put in countless hours securing the participation of Hall of Fame Enshrinees and working with the Steering Committee to ensure an unforgettable and successful evening. It has been our pleasure to serve as Co-Chairs for Taste of the NFL this year. Again, thank you for helping the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank tackle hunger in Northeast Ohio.

A MESSAGE FROM THE FOODBANK Dear Friends, On behalf of the staff and the Board of Directors of the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, thank you for joining us this evening at the Pro Football Hall of Fame. We greatly appreciate your support of Taste of the NFL as we continue to fight hunger right here in our community. We would also like to thank the Pro Football Hall of Fame for hosting us at this historic facility and bringing the Hall of Fame Enshrinees here tonight. This event would also not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors. We’d also like to extend special thanks to our 2011 Co-Chairs, Linda DeHoff and Lara Wilson, who have done a wonderful job overseeing the countless details of tonight’s event. The demand for emergency food continues to rise. One in three people in food lines are children under the age of 18. With the support of individuals like you, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank distributed 19.2 million pounds of food and fed 180,000 different people in 2010. Our network of more than 450 agency programs in eight counties counts on events like Taste of the NFL to ensure food gets to the mouths of those that need it most. The Foodbank needs your continued support to ensure that we can feed those in need. Each dollar raised tonight will help the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank provide three meals for a hungry child, adult or senior in our community. Your attendance at Taste of the NFL this evening shows your commitment to the cause. Thank you for your support!

Joe DeLamielleure or, “Joe D” and his Buffalo Bills offensive line mates were dubbed the “Electric Company” because they “turned the Juice loose” (the Juice being O.J .Simpson of course.) Joe became the most honored lineman of the Bills respected front wall. Extremely durable and dependable, Joe played 185 consecutive games. He played and started in every game for eight seasons in Buffalo. During five years in Cleveland he played in every game and had only three non-starts. Joe was best known for his run blocking, and was also an effective pass blocker. He finished his career in 1985 with his final season back where it had begun, in Buffalo. Class of 2003 • 1973-1979, 1985 Buffalo Bills • 1980-1984 Cleveland Browns Leroy Kelly, in his 10-year tenure with the Browns, established himself as the most feared ball carrier in the history of the NFL. For three years he rushed for 1,000 yards, winning All-NFL honors each year and being selected as a starter in three straight Pro Bowls. He also played in three other Pro-Bowls and earned first- team All-NFL twice. His quickstarting ability, along with a sense of balance and knack of evading direct hits by tacklers, kept him relatively injury-free, missing only four games in 10 years. Class of 1994 • 1964-1973 Cleveland Browns 16

Pro Football Hall of Fame

Floyd Little was a three-time All-America running back at Syracuse and the Denver Broncos first round draft pick, sixth player selected overall, in the 1967 AFL-NFL Draft. Little had a knack for finding the end zone, something he did often especially during a three-year stretch from 1971 to 1973 when he scored a combined 32 touchdowns via rushing and receiving. Little was named to two AFL All-Star Games and three AFC-NFC Pro Bowls. He was also named AllAFL/NFL twice and All-AFC first- or second-team four straight years. Class of 2010 • 1967-1975 Denver Broncos Randall McDaniel finished his career with Tampa Bay after 12 seasons with the Vikings where he played in all 16 games in his rookie year. McDaniel continued to excel the following season with a streak of 202 consecutive starts that continued through the end of his career. He also earned the first of 12 straight Pro Bowl berths. In the 1996 Pro Bowl he caught a touchdown pass, becoming the first guard in AFC-NFC Pro Bowl history to accomplish such a feat. Regarded as one of the finest offensive linemen in NFL history, McDaniel was named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1990s. Class of 2009 •1988-1999 Minnesota Vikings • 2000-2001 Tampa Bay Buccaneers DON MAYNARD became the first player to sign with the new American Football League’s New York Titans, a team that would later change its name to the Jets. Maynard, who was never known as a precise pattern runner, often had to “improvise” as one of his team’s constantly rotating crop of quarterbacks scrambled for his life. In 1965 quarterback Joe Namath arrived on the scene and the resulting chemistry that developed between the two proved to be the perfect mix. While Maynard was a frequent standout for the Jets, he had his biggest day in the 1968 AFL Championship Game that preceded the Jets’ stunning upset of Baltimore in Super Bowl III. In New York’s 27-23 victory over Oakland, Maynard caught six passes for 118 yards and two touchdowns. Maynard was one of only five players to record more than 50 receptions and more than 1,000 receiving yards in five different seasons. Class of 1987 • 1958 New York Giants • 1960-1972 New York Titans/Jets 1973 St. Louis Cardinals 2011 Taste of the NFL

Anthony Muñoz was the first-round pck of the Cincinnati Bengals in the 1980 NFL Draft. As a child growing up, he actually concentrated on becoming an excellent baseball player. Eventually, as a college sophomore, he pitched for USC’s national championship team in 1978. By then, however, it was clear that his size and his talents were more suited for football. An exceptional straight-on blocker, Muñoz was agile, quick, and strong. Considered by many to be the premier tackle during his 13-seasons of play, he started 164 of 168 games from 1980-1990. An allaround athlete, he even caught seven passes and scored four touchdowns on tackle eligible plays. Anthony was elected to 11 consecutive Pro Bowls and was named All-Pro 11 straight times from 1981 through 1991. He was named the NFL Offensive Lineman of the Year in 1981, 1987, and 1988. Class of 1998 • 1980-1992 Cincinnati Bengals Charlie Sanders was a collegiate star with athletic prowess that drew the attention of the Detroit Lions who selected him in the third round of the 1968 draft. He combined his great leaping ability, big hands and strength with unusual speed and elusiveness to help fuel the Lions offense in the late 1960s and the 1970s. Sanders, who was the Lions’ leader or co-leader in receiving six times during his 10 seasons in Detroit, was voted to seven Pro Bowls. By the time he retired following the 1977 season, Sanders ranked as the Lions’ all-time reception leader with 336 career grabs. He also scored 31 touchdowns during his 128-game career. Regarded as one of the best tight ends of his era, he was named to the NFL’s All-Decade Team of the 1970s. Class of 2007 • 1968-1977 Detroit Lions Jim Taylor was the symbol of power for the Green Bay Packers. Thousand-yard seasons became a specialty for Taylor. He went over 1,000 yards five straight seasons beginning in 1960 but reached his pinnacle in 1962, when he had a career-high 1,474 yards and was named the NFL Player of the Year. In the 1962 NFL title game Taylor engaged in a personal duel with the New York Giants’ outstanding defense. Jim carried 31 times for 85 yards and scored Green Bay’s only touchdown in a 16-7 victory. Taylor led the NFL rushers, scorers and had 19 rushing touchdowns. Class of 1976 • 1958 – 1966 Green Bay Packers • 1967 New Orleans Saints 18

Pro Football Hall of Fame

Dave Wilcox was in the 1964 draft for both the AFC and the NFC. Dave chose to play in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers over the AFC Houston Oilers. Nicknamed “The Intimidator”, the 6-3, 241-pound linebacker thrived on action and wanted it all. He was also effective in pass coverage and managed to intercept 14 passes during his career. In 1973 he recorded 104 solo tackles, four forced fumbles and tackled opposing ball carriers for a loss 13 times. Five times he was named All-NFL and three times All-NFC and he was selected to play in seven Pro Bowls. Class of 2000 • 1964 - 1974 San Francisco 49ers Rayfield Wright, the Dallas Cowboys seventh round pick in the 1967 draft, was used as a tight end, defensive end, and offensive tackle. Before training camp opened in 1970, Coach Tom Landry announced that Wright would be his starting right tackle. One season later he was named All-NFL. Known as “Big Cat,” Wright earned first- or second-team All-NFL honors six consecutive times (1971-1976). He was also selected to play in the Pro Bowl following each of those seasons. Wright’s performance during the 1975 season was particularly impressive. Coming off knee surgery, many questioned whether “Big Cat” would even play. Not only did he play, but he again notched All-NFL honors into his career belt. Class of 2006 • 1967-1979 Dallas Cowboys Jack Youngblood was the Rams’ quarterback sack leader, was All-Pro five times and All-NFC seven times. He played in seven straight Pro Bowls from 1973 to 1979. One of his most outstanding single-game performances was against the St. Louis Cardinals in a 1975 playoff game where he recorded one sack, one forced fumble, one blocked extra-point attempt and returned an interception 47 yards for a touchdown. During a first-round playoff game in 1979, Youngblood suffered a fractured left fibula. However, he was fitted with a plastic brace and he played every defensive down in both the NFC title game and Super Bowl. He played in a Rams’ record 201 consecutive games and only missed one game in 14 seasons, that one miss coming in his final year in 1984.
