Hello, students! We’re so glad you’re here! To welcome you to campus, Adult & Commuter Student Services is giving away FREE bottles of water! Special Areas of Interest: • Staying Safe workshop • Add/Drop Dates • Tiger Dining Specials • Campus Events

LOOKING FOR A ROOMMATE? NEED A PLACE TO LIVE? Check out the ACSS’ Off-Campus Housing Web site! On this site you can use message boards to find roommates, compare different apartment offerings, search rental properties, and more! This is the one-stop solution for your housing needs. Go to www.memphis.edu/acss and click on the OffCampus Housing tab to reach the site. You’ll have to sign in, but it only takes a second and it’s FREE! Also, in March the Adult & Commuter Student Services office will be hosting an Off-Campus Housing Fair. This event will save you a lot of time in looking for an apartment, so be sure to plan to be there!

THE ASA WELCOMES YOU! The Adult Student Association (ASA) is an organization devoted to helping students 25 years and older excel at university life. It is a student-run organization that seeks to provide support for adult students at the University of Memphis. ASA officers for 2008-2009: Kristy Conger – President Karol Benfield – Vice President Heidi Basinger – Secretary Lacey Gaylord – Treasurer Joan Rayman – Sergeant at Arms Tiffany Lindfield – Web Master Dottie Heinz – Historian The first ASA meeting will be held September 5, 2008, at 12 p.m. on the 5th floor of Wilder Tower. Also, on September 19, 2008, the ASA will hold a “Coping With Stress” workshop. MEET THE CSA! At the University of Memphis, commuters make up almost 90% of the student body. If that percentage includes you, then check out the Commuter Student Association! The CSA’s first meeting will be Thursday, August 28, at 1 p.m. The CSA puts on several events during the year, including parties, workshops and charity functions. If you’re a commuter student, the CSA would like to meet you! Membership is open to all commuting students at the U of M, and it’s only $10! Contact or come by the ACSS office for more details, or check out the CSA page on the ACSS Web site: www.memphis.edu/acss.

The CSA is an organization that represents the interests and needs of commuting students. Its goal is to help commuter students connect with the campus community.

Our regular hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday. If you need after hours help, please call us to make arrangements.
