We currently purchase all materials from bluesign® system partners and therefore from suppliers who continuously reduce their emissions to air and water and have an environmental management system.
We have been awarded Leader status by Fair Wear and with their help we are committed to improving the working conditions of the people who manufacture our products. Our FW membership helps us ensure that the factories we use are safe and that employees benefit from fair working conditions.
For the outer fabrics of our products, we use materials consisting of 50 % or 100 % used PET bottles. PET recycling means less waste and less consumption of natural resources.
We have managed to switch our entire production to PFC-free. PFC (perfluorinated and polyfluorinated chemicals) is a large group of chemicals that do not occur naturally and therefore take a long time to dissolve or are not biodegradable at all. Due to their waterproofing properties these harmful chemicals are used often in the textile industry, especially for outdoors products and enter our system via air and water.
All AEVOR products are officially » PETA Approved Vegan «. This award verifies that no components of animal origin are used in the entire production process.
