The new CQR Airsoft rifle was born through a unique collaboration between ASG, ICS and Hera Arms. Commissioned by ASG and built by ICS using a combination of custom made original parts supplied by Hera Arms, custom-built parts based on the original 3D CAD blueprints and ICS’s own battle proven mechanics.
When Hera Arms introduced the CQR stock and front-grip on the market nearly a year ago, it drew a lot of attention from the firearms community. ASG as licensee of Hera Arms saw this as an opportunity to further their new partnership with Taiwanese Airsoft manufacturer ICS, by commissioning an Airsoft rifle featuring these innovative new fittings.
The result is a contemporary and attention-grabbing look combined with a reliable and popular Airsoft AR15 platform.
ICS is widely recognized for their high build quality and reliable internals. Taking time-to-market into consideration the partnership model is a perfect match to secure a swift and effective production process for the new Hera CQR AEG – marking a new form of collaboration in Airsoft – the cooperative partnership.
ASG has served the Airsoft community for many years, and have developed a close working relationship with both real firearms manufacturers and Airsoft manufacturers. Among which is German based Hera Arms, designer of innovative firearms accessories and furnishings.
INNOVATION MADE AUTHENTIC Built with original parts custom made for Airsoft by Hera Arms, the CQR project profits from the best of two worlds. The CQR is built on the reliable HOG platform from ICS, who are known for their build quality and dependable performance. The Hera Arms CQR features a split gearbox with a quick spring change cylinder, allowing for easy and fast adjustments to any range requirements, easy upgrades and in-the-field maintenance.

Using the CQR rifle-stock in combination with the CQR front grip and IRS custom rail creates a lightweight, compact and ergonomic Airsoft rifle – suitable equally for close quarters as well as large-scale mil-sim. The innovative Hera Arms stock and front-grip will not only provide the operator with a fast handling rifle but its unique look will draw the attention and admiration of fellow Airsoft players.

CUSTOM MADE HERA ARMS ACCESORIES HeraFront grip (HFG) is an easy to install vertical front grip made out of fiberglass reinforced polymer. It is short and compact with a slim snag free profile. The exterior has a modern design with textured grip surfaces. There is an internal storage compartment that can be used to store a small tool kit.
Multi-Position Front grip for most MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rails. This is an innovative approach to the modern angular front grip currently popular among operators. Depending on the distance between the attachment points, the angle of the grip will be more or less aggressive.
