Featured Artists Kenneth Aitken Senior Center Susan Hersch’s purpose in creating artwork is to convey to others the beauty that she sees in the places or the animals she loves. Susan’s preferred medium is soft pastel. While she is primarily self taught, she is inspired and learns from other artists as well. Robert Wolff’s work is know as woodblock prints. His woodcut career began while living in Huntington Beach when he found a piece of ocean wood and started creating. He creates using multiple mediums such as watercolor, pastels, acrylic painting, clay and wire sculptures. Join him for his artist talk on Tuesday, July 21 at 10:30am. Hayward Senior Center Rosa Di Zeo Bazzani states...“Art is an integral part of my life and photography enables me to express and share my deepest feelings for Nature with others.” Her photographs focus on macro work with flowers and insects to larger reptiles, birds and local mammals. Landscapes of all kinds also find their way into her pictures. Her work is on exhibit July 15-September 15, 2015. Winda Shimizu will exhibit her photos at Hayward Area Senior Center September 16- November 17, 2015.
