FEEDBACK FROM COUNSELLING SERVICE USER

“The counsellor was extremely helpful and kind. I was able to identify and understand my own emotions and consequent actions in an encouraging light and it really helped me better understand not only where I was coming from but also what I might... work towards and how to get myself there. Thank you so much for this extremely helpful service geared towards mental health.”

TEAM SPOTLIGHT TEAM NAME: M·A·C Cosmetics Total funds raised 1998-2013: $366,010

How long has your team been Walking? We’ve been walking since 1998! M·A·C Cosmetics matches every dollar you raise. How does the matching gift program impact the way that your team fundraises? M·A·C employees are not only committed to raising money for the M·A·C AIDS Fund through the sale of Viva Glam, they also are heavily involved with fundraising for HIV/ AIDS organizations in their local communities through AIDS Walks. The M·A·C AIDS Fund is pleased and proud to be able to match funds, dollar for dollar, raised by M·A·C employees

who participate in AIDS Walks in the U.S. and Canada. This collective approach and support encourages and emphasizes that M·A·C is not simply a brand with employees, but a FAMILY! What fundraising tips would you like to give to other teams? Be creative, think outside the box, and don’t wait until right before the walk to start! We fundraise different ways all year long, from used book or bake sales, to draws or raffles. We have fun, raise awareness, and raise money all at the same time!
